I have visited Mussorrie, rishikesh, haridwar, dehradun, kumaon & Garhwal area. The human - animal conflict is becoming a big threat due to human encroachment in jungle areas.
We can't kill ppl, tiger tho are expendable India is simply too small and thickly populated to host large wildlife populations on pristine virgin land like in north America or europe If ppl and animals are too live in harmony then all tigers on human territory will have to be classed as dangerous vermin and shot accordingly, while ppl living in tiger country will have to be evicted Of course the tiger population in tiger territory will have to be culled periodically to prevent excess population growth and spread to human areas
