This guy became my favorite build and is currently my main MF char since I stuck enigma on him (playing SSF for a while now) . Not the fastest guy in the world but clear speed isn't on top of my priorities. I actually love combat loop of using every one of my skills and adjusting to situation. Here's my way to approach things - i CONSTANTLY stay in melee range and get benefit from all my damaging skills ( except firestorm, don't have maxed out that one on lvl 90 ) . With anni and plus to skills from my gear, bear oak and carrion Vine and Frenzy merc with sazabi/lawbringer combo for sanctuary aura and decrepify procs you can ABSOLUTELY take it. I play players 5 on him and don't have any issues. Main reason is molten boulder. This thing is crowd Control miracle. You cannot push away all enemies but vast majority of them you cab like cows for example. It is not on defensive level of like wind druid but he is still super tanky for caster Class from my experience. I agree focusing on physical component is the way to go. This build rocks. Also - probably one of the most visually good Looking !
This is going to be my FAVORITE of your series I think. I love odd/different builds than all the meta. So annoying playing bliz sorc or hdin all the time. My favorite is my poison necro with enigma. Might do holy fire/holy bolt/FoH or poison necro for ladder 5.

Love this video. Was actually wondering if I should build it but not anymore.
Lol some people seem to think I was being overly negative about the fire druid. I really did enjoy the fissure/volcano. I just wanted to give the straight unfiltered information about how the class functions
I found a perfect ravenlore on SP (except defence) and made a fire druid just because of how nuts that find was, I found that build super refreshing. The buffs to fire druid were really great, unfortunately not exactly the most efficient P8 build but comfortable in P3
I ran a fire druid when sunder charms first came out. The point about the button mashing really hit home with me. It felt like I was constantly chasing cooldowns. Not the character for me, but it was a great intro to sunders and flickering flame
I dont understand the confusion. Fire Druid is flexible. Fissure and Volcano are innitiation spells. Molten Boulder is a self peel spell. Armageddon and Firestorm are for when self peel of Moulten Boulder fails.
5:32 I have a pretty decent all rest ring here... shows literally one of the worst garbage rings Ive seen on character above lvl75 but seeing the other ring they go hand in hand lol
what happens if you come across with a fire - physical immunity monster? How do you kill it? I think you skip it, don't you, if you don't have fire sunder charm.
What does the taco hell mean lol. Went in rdy for an optimistic take on fire druid and you spent half the vid shittin on it. so much for a fav build i guess
When you play a class you gotta know it's weaknesses so you can overcome them. I could bury my head in the sand I guess and just pretend it didn't have any issues. But I think it's important to be honest with how each skill functions and why some of the fire skills were not my favorites. But overall I really enjoyed both Volcano, and Fissure, The two stand outs. The unfortunate thing is that to use Volcano and Fissure you are also tied to the less fun skills like firestorm. And Taco Hell is a Reference to the poocano that comes out of you after you eat taco bell. It's a play on words, and since the druid has volcano 🌋 I felt it fit.
Its not. Its by far worse and as im aware of it was even worse at the release. You guys need to stop with all that shitting while knowong nothing. Comparing a 20 year old game against a 3 months old game which is 200x more valuable just by the world and the events there. The story is decent too and more will come like in every diablo game. Coz they all been dogshit at the start. You re like a sheep who follows the lead of others because even if most youtubers said it lacks content, usually they tend tonday that its not bad at all. Dm and asmongold as example both think the game is good. You should if you follow others actually listen what they have to say and not listen to what you want to hear.
@@jozz2248 i pretty much exclusively play winddruids and I thought this might be fun but as he said this basically breaks down if you dont have or can use a sunder as you wont be high enough for it in nightmare With my winddruids i can handle either and since it’s slightly better for points it allowed me fully max all the wind stuff i need and also make a small army with a 20 on grizzly so can tank more and keep me out of range of damage
@@edwinjusto5739 Fire dru is a pretty fun try, but wouldn't go for it halfway. Want to have all the fixings. Can do with insight Merc and spirit shield...but good lord, slays so fast with infinity and phoenix
@@edwinjusto5739 I can confirm those are far from cheap. As a matter of fact those two cost a b**** and a half lol. That being said....with a sunder you pretty much melt everything. 😅😂😂😂😂😂
This is a build I played for an entire season, I did not claim during this video that it was the best build, or that it was the most OP Build, only that it was one of my Favorites, and I enjoyed it. If you listen to the video you will see I have a lot of negative things to say about how the fire skills work in general and how their synergies function. Despite this I still had fun. Furthermore Yes Fire Immunes are prevalent throughout the game, which is why Negative Resistance, and the Physical damage Secondary on The Fire Druid is so important. I am messing around with no one, I am very clear in the video about the builds shortcomings.
We need at least one favourite build for every class!

"My fav builds"
Proceeds to spend twenty minutes shitting on the build.
I enjoyed my Fire Druid as well! it's a super fun, simple and powerful build.

As a previously lvl 99 Shout Barb, I really don't think this build is that loud ;-))
Lol 🤣
@@GGMentorI will say the shout barb is FAR better ASMR, though ;-)

Amp damage is easy to get and a lower res wand but your merc would be slapping it

U overspent on the fire tree u don't need to increase the Armageddon time
I don't like recasting it all the time =) but yeah I get what you are saying
Would be nice if it got buff and remove some synergy's. Having to be a close range and caster would be annoying. Way to much activity required.
21:25 spicy bidet
Deamn what else can you do if blizz prepared so many changes in the new season for D2R. If a 100 year old game is better than d4...

So between winddruid and firedruid would you say wind druid is better?
Fully decked out fire druid better for PVM, any old windy better for PVP 😆
