Love seeing Angus and Millie out in the beautiful green grass! California doesn’t have much green grass. Such a gorgeous place to live. Lucky hounds! ❤😊
I'm so sorry to hear about your injury, an occupational hazard of the emergency services. Years ago I had a Basset girl named Ziti who loved to run, we called her the World's Fastest Basset. Thanks for sharing this walk with us.
0:30 You take care of you, okay, maybe give a quick post now and then to let us know how things are going, and it's all good. It's always good to see these sweet squishy floppy stuffed sausages being themselves. 1:20 And away we go. 1:42 "Oh hai! Oh hai! Wanna play chase? Wait... what am I thinking? I no can catch you wif dese stumpy legs!" 2:16 "Iz MY stick!" 3:00 Running around without knowing what he's doing? Eh. It's an Angus specialty. 3:24 Flap those ears, Angus! Fly! FLY!" 3:55 "Millie, you want dis stick? Iz a big stick... Hey! Loud noise-making thing up there!" 4:02 "Hey! You again! Wanna play? 4:28 "Gimme. Iz mine." 4:55 They're playing tug-o-stick. 5:40 "C'mon, Junior, no more Keep-Away. Gimme big stick." 6:25 "I iz okay, I iz just jonesing for some back rubs." 7:14 "Am I hungry? Dad, do you even need to ask." You take care of your back, show the kids when you can. Gotta love these two goofballs. ❤
Good to see you all. We are all under the weather with hubby with cancer and back issues and myself with back and leg issues and even Dudley not feeling well. He won't jump up on the couch or bed and just wants to be massaged. He spring to life when he saw Angus and Millie and so did hubby. We will gladly send you some of our weather 115 till after the weekend and then low 100's. Every where else in the states they get floods a d here it only spits. That's our version of a microburst.😊Hope you feel better soon with your back. It's no fun when you can't move like you used to. Sending our love and hugs to all and it was so nice to hear from you and see everyone again. Your entire family makes our family feel better. And even though we don't know each other, it would be a great honor to meet you and the hounds. Thank you for being g there!❤
Had to let you know that I was showing Dudley some of your older videos today and he sprang back to life when he saw Millie and started barking and howling and running all over the house as if he was looking for her. Anyways, it made us feel better as well as making him feel better. THANK YOU!❤
Heal fast. I'm currently recovering from a very badly fractured little finger. I haven't been allowed to drive since I did it in mid July and I'm only able to work 10 hours a week. They had to operate twice and the second time they installed external fixation in the form of a ligamentotaxor which held it together with pins through the skin. Got that removed on Monday. Rest of hand is trying to pack up in sympathy. My dog has a back injury so he hasn't had many walks either but yesterday he refused to be releashed, crossed a busy road and trotted all the way home. He was very lucky not to get hit. He's a Chihuahua mix and the indirect cause of my fractured finger. He might be losing control of his back end slowly but when he's determined, he won't let me catch him.
Sorry to hear that you are out with a back injury, that is no fun. Hope the gallbladder surgery for mom went well. Good to see Junior and the hounds out and about and enjoying a nice W A L K 🐶🐶
Millie is a two tone .50 cal tracer bullet! I had to keep rewinding to see her graceful moves and speed. And the bum! The way it aerodynamically widens at speed. Her coughing was obviously a result of oxygen intake at speed. Angus' eyes though. Gore blimey but he's a handsome boy.
Love watching bassets run - it's so cute! When I throw a stick for the basset I dog-sit, he doesn't give it back to be thrown again, but hangs onto it so we can play tug of war ... and most often he'll try and eat it😄I see Angus and Millie get the idea though! (Hope the back gets better soon!)
Aaron, I'm going to give you some advice: never show weakness to a Bassett. They are very aggressive. If they sense you are even slightly under the weather, you will go from 'dog dad taking the posse for a walk' to 'an afternoon snack' in a matter of seconds. Good luck with the back issue. Hope you recover soon.
Young bassets are faster than you may think. When my female basset was one year old she could run extremely fast in an open field. Gave my older italian greyhound a run for her money. Remember they were bred to hunt..so that means running fast.
Bassets make me think that they are dwarfs of the dog world.

So good to see the hounds again. Hope you’re on the mend, Dad!
They know what W-A-L-K is!
Yes, we always had to spell "walk" in the presence of our dogs. They know what you say.
So good to see the hounds again. And to see them play with other doggies. Love the Bassett on Board sign.
So cute. Look at their faces.
Oh I just love these guys!! They are awesome!! I hope you get to feeling better soon 💕
Have missed you. Glad you are back and hope you are feeling better soon.
Greetings from Vancouver Canada ❤

We used to have two Chihuahuas. Absolutely impossible to catch lol
@@Flatbasset glad I'm not the only one who can't catch them. He's a slippery bugger. Lol
I'm so happy to see this video. Angus and Millie are a joy to watch. I hope Aaron gets better soon.

Third ❤🤗👍🏻👍🏻🐕🐕🥰🤣
Hope your back recovers quickly
What are the birds in the background?
We have cockatiels, you can hear Charlie and Lucy in the background. Bob is a bit quieter 🙂
"Fast" is relative, though my little 40lb hound could move fast for short distances.
Fast & Flat 😊❤
I truly miss the days of having to spell out w a l k or d i n n e r. Lol I can relate to the back pain. Get better soon
Fastest isn't a word that applies to Basset Hounds, it's just a matter of who is the least slow.
Young bassets are faster than you may think. When my female basset was one year old she could run extremely fast in an open field. Gave my older italian greyhound a run for her money. Remember they were bred to hunt..so that means running fast.
Bassets aren't the best retrievers, are they? Who cares? God, I love them anyway. Thanks for these videos. What's that retching all about?
