ajsdhasjf I can't get why ppl are mad?? I still haven't caught one and I'd lose my damn mind if I did. Water Pokemon are my everything so that catch was epic!
I miss the days when every single person on the street was playing pokemon GO. It was so much fun meeting people in the same team as you and taking over gyms together. I guess it was a once in a lifetime experience. Damn that thing took over the world.
Daniel Fagan right?? All these people commenting about how Lapras was nothing special and didn't understand why he was so excited clearly aren't actual trainer tips fans
Every other shot he takes is staged for the camera, even just sitting in a chair is a staged shot...why do you think this one wasn't? Neo - most regular watchers of TT know he has already caught MANY in the wild.
Daniel Fagan lol, my first one was when I was drinking coke and it just randomly popped up on my screen at home.. I live in the mountains I'm nowhere near water
Lawrence Fan i have that same omystar, i was in long beach that day and i caught him, im really sad i didnt see nick. i saw the vid the next day and was really sad i didnt round the corner to see him
In Nicks POV this does count as "his rarest catches ever" but in terms of rarity, I would agree with you thats its far his 100% IV with best MS catches in the past. Some trainers just have that one or few mons that they cant seem to bag. Let alone in multiple secessions. Lapras it would seem is one of those mons Nick has clearly been having a hard time getting since day one. So this is just another 'done it!' check list Nick has. As many more as it would seem. But yes, I too agree that his 100% collection is far more worthy of the label rare. But I also understand why Nick chose to label this as his "rarest catch ever".
I think it's silly people are calling this click bait. Nick was pretty clearly excited to find it, and I'm sure he was excited to share the experience with us. The title just shows that enthusiasm
Jacob Song It's because people don't know what clickbait is. It's supposed to be when the video is nothing like the thumbnail/description, but people make it to be when the video is nothing like I expected
the way he was breathing and the way he was reacting with the thumbnail made it sound like he found a unknown. an unknown is much rarer than a lapras, i've caught 4 of those wild.
case in point. ^^^ people passing off their own assumptions, then suddenly shouting clickbait . this was what Nick feels was *his* rarest catch. hence the "my" in the title saying "My rarest catch" . he never claimed, didn't say "pokemon go's rarest catch ever" in which case, people can then (at that point) be legitimately be led to believe the subject was Unown. but he did not do that. as Jacob mentioned, this was a thrilling run for a Lapras. lapras which many in Southern California barely have encountered in the wild. personally, i had to hatch one to get it for the pokedex and EVEN THEN, still didn't see any in the wild until the water event came around and only encountered maybe 5 or so the whole week
Are lapras that rare? I had 3 spawn up my road in one week not even during the water event, one of which was 1900 with 93% iv I've caught like 5 in the wild XD
He has problems sifting through Pokestops to find out where the Pokemon is.. Meanwhile I have only a single Pokestop here so I always know where the rare guys are. Who's laughing now, urban boys!?
He has no idea that in the next 3 years there will be a safari event and a raid day just for Lapras. I miss the days of searching for rare Pokemon. Now everything is just handed to us.
ThatGamerDad I walked 3miles down the river in my city during the Water Event and was only to catch 5 Magikarps. I seen and caught more water Pokémon away from water.
I love these types of Trainer Tips videos, where all he does is Pokémon GO. I still don't mind Nick experimenting on his channel with different things, but for me, videos with loads of Pokémon GO content are the most enjoyable. Keep up the great work Nick!
Larvitar Dratini I believe so, since what you will get in an egg is decided as soon as you pick it up from a poke stop. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I assume how it is🤗
Jonna Kling thanks! I was leaning toward that conclusion too but I wanted to know for sure so I could go on a run tonight just in case I was losing a potential lapras.
Such an amazing feeling when you finally see a Rare in the wild, that adrenaline rush, everything stops and your heart races. Im so happy for you that it did not fled for you! Gotta love this game
Y'all need to chill. When's the last time you saw a real, and I mean real Lapras spawn. Not enhanced by Niantic, not hatched from and egg, but a real authentic Lapras spawn.
Thats bcos there are too many botters/spooofers here. When in reality, the majority of them wouldnt even have seen one without resorting to hackz. Granted I have thrown a ton of Lapras in my time, but I will ALWAYS be greatful for ANY real wild spawns unlike many here or so it would seem...
Dude, this was my absolute favorite episode of all time. Hilarious, fun, brilliant editing, great music, just amazing. You're an inspiration every day!
Your video editing and comprehensive reporting is absolutely amazing. I just shared your channel to the official Cincinnati PoGo League group on Facebook because you deserve many more subscribers than you've got!!!
I'd imagine someone warned him about disclosing such details online. Or at least make it so not readily available. But yes, it's kind pointless too I'd imagine since most fans wiuld know exactly where he's new apartment is. Oh well, it's still good practise tho so ;)
i did read online that people were appearing outside the building after he moved. someone posted a picture to facebook too. i agree with Jonathan, in that, it is a good habit to blur out these kinds of details going forward. of course, anyone can go back to old videos and see for themselves but majority won't. it is kind of sad that these people won't track him to his home building when they already have high chances of seeing Nick at the Pike
the Easter special and now this. most intense PG video I've seen so far. I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't know what you was going for for the longest but glad you got it.
I really hope they implement TM's in the game soon. I just hatched my first ever snorlax from my 87th 10k egg during this event and it has very good IV but has Lick/Earthquake. Very frustrating :(
Woaw the view is beautiful!! It's been I long time since we saw you excited about a Pokemon... with the dramatic music... this is just excellent 😂👌. YEEESSSSSS Laprasss!! That was fun!!! If you never been to Japan this would be the first Lapras you caught in the wild since the launch of the game, almost a year! Great video as always keep up the good work 😊.
I too thought that it was going to be an Unown especially when I first saw his Twitter post about this LOL I think a lot of people deep down are kinda glad it wasn't tho LMAO It would have been good though if it was a Shinny Karp. The hate herr would be funny as hell
I was at the hospital Nick recently one spawned I said holy &@"! a Lapras I dam near started a riot old people and young people going crazy those are the moments I live for
Hey man congrats on your Lapras!! I'm new to your channel, i started watching about a month ago and i haven't missed a episode! IDK why people are mad that you caught a lapras.. but i guess you cant make every one happy :) Thanks for the content! And best of luck in your adventures and dont let the haters bring you down!
Dang it, I thought it was an Unown too LOL but knew it's wasn't a shiny Karp fer sher. :D 1st Lapras tho ;) I still remember mine O.OIf it took Nick this long to bag a Lappy, he'll be old and grey if he ever sees a shiny. That or just plain lucky ofc...That face tho after the chase LMAO Priceless! The way Nick filmed that rare Lapras chase was epic. I haven't seen him go for a mon like that in a while. It's good to see that the Pokemon trainer in him hasn't dimmed down as many h8rz here would claim. I missed videos like this where the priority is what the topic is rather than other misc fillers. GJ m8! Can't wait for your Aussie trip! Might even see you around if you come by Melbourne Victoria. MEET AND GREET, MEET AND GREET !!!¡¡¡!!!
GJ Gamer 2/3 of my lapras were random wild ages ago catches. Don't even live in their main biome. I never saw one all water event and only hatched a Lapras this current event
i am just watching a ton of your old videos on a lazy day, and the next time my boyfriend tells me that i'm crazy for running to pokéstops and whatnot, i'm showing him this video to help validate me 😂😂😂
joran Jacquet because now it just spawned on its own, not 'cause an event + its the first one that spawns in his area. it is like i found a kangaroo in Sweden, wild, would be... eh.. wild.... but if i find it in Australia it isnt that cool.
joran Jacquet I'm guessing because this was a wild spawn with zero influence from Niantic. It's one thing to catch Lapras when it's like this and catching one when Niantic makes them spawn at the same rate as pidgey
great vid! still the only gamer I'm subscribed too. The Lapras chase reminded me a lot of when Pokemon Go was first released and I would run everywhere for any Pokemon... and yes I ran in the wrong way so many times
Oh um... you may need to change the title some to have something around "(well at least for ME)". Haters aren't going to understand enough that this Lapras means a lot to you as a first wild non-event catch. Get ready for the UGGGGGGGGGGGH CLICKBAIT crap from them!
TheSandySavage And they also stupidly replace the word "My" with "The". Like you said, he says it's HIS rarest spawn but people make it out to say it's THE rarest spawn in the game
I only recently started watching this Channel and I've got to admit your content is excellent! Went down to the pike last weekend since I'm always seeing you down there in vids lol was not disappointed!
Nick, when I caught my single Lapras, which is CP468 and crappy IVs, on the last day of the water event, in a park that has no water, I jumped up and down, cheered and cried, I was so excited. Don't care what anybody thinks!! It was an AWESOME catch, and I cheered at the screen when you got it! :D
Awesome video, enjoyed it as always! I have never seen a Girafarig in the wild before, but i hatched my first yesterday, along with my first baby Cleffa! 😁
Awesome episode. I remember my first Lapras in the wild. i literally ran out of my house with my bf and after catching the Lapras we had to wait for my parents to get back to get in the house. Worth it!! Have fun in Australia Nick. Tc
That Lapras hunt was intense. Glad you managed to get it :D Also hatched a Girafarig today (my first one! My sister found a Girafarig nest in a seaside town which I found quite funny) but mine knows a psychic move and for some reason Thundershock as well?
"I'm sweaty and I'm hot and my camera battery is dead"
Never heard a more relatable quote in my life
MYSTIC7 Haha
Hi Brandon
MYSTIC7 hi
hi mystic
What up
1:44 dat old man time lapse
Tomato *LMAO*
i did
Fastest old man alive now told tell anyone the vid was sped up
Y'all really mad 'cause I'm excited about catching a Lapras???
_You changed..._
ajsdhasjf I can't get why ppl are mad?? I still haven't caught one and I'd lose my damn mind if I did. Water Pokemon are my everything so that catch was epic!
Trainer Tips Its a gen 1 pokemon that you and a lot of people watching already have I dont know what you expected
Trainer Tips Don't worry they are just mad because they don't get to smoke weed like you.
There just mad because they probably don't have one
Jose Andaya Lol nice
I miss the days when every single person on the street was playing pokemon GO. It was so much fun meeting people in the same team as you and taking over gyms together. I guess it was a once in a lifetime experience. Damn that thing took over the world.
The suspense was priceless, every trainer tip fan knows what a Lapras means to Nick lol
Daniel Fagan right?? All these people commenting about how Lapras was nothing special and didn't understand why he was so excited clearly aren't actual trainer tips fans
Daniel Fagan he already has on.
'Outside of Japan' this was his first.
No I think your 100% Omastar with Water Gun/Hydro Pump is still your rarest catch.
I gotta agree with you on that one.
What video was that? I'd love to see his reaction.
thats true, i forgot about that.

But I also understand why Nick chose to label this as his "rarest catch ever".
Come to Alaska if you want a Lapras I have found 31 here.
That chase was epic!
that's what Pokemon GO is about. Feeling the thrill of the hunt!
I agree, feeling is rare for Nick.
Censored the rest of the screen in the end, think someone recognized the place before and showed up at his apartment :D
I think most of his regular viewer is thinking just that when they saw that too LOL
metalhood lmfao why did I think of when nick went to niantic hq?
I think it's silly people are calling this click bait. Nick was pretty clearly excited to find it, and I'm sure he was excited to share the experience with us. The title just shows that enthusiasm
Jacob Song It's because people don't know what clickbait is. It's supposed to be when the video is nothing like the thumbnail/description, but people make it to be when the video is nothing like I expected
+18bigegan : It's still literally baiting a click.
the way he was breathing and the way he was reacting with the thumbnail made it sound like he found a unknown. an unknown is much rarer than a lapras, i've caught 4 of those wild.
case in point.

Nick your editing is a big part of why I come back everyday eager for more videos. Keep it up, you're awesome man!
Indeed!
So no one saw blurred mobile screen at the end
I think it is to hide his apartment
Pasquale Bercini its would be too late for that
raj rameshbhai true
He probably wasn't in his apartment but wanted people to think he was
raj rameshbhai I did and I don't know what was under it
it's not just a fckin lapras! its a naturally spawned authentic WILD Lapras.
alt queque its not just a boulder........its a rock.
alt queque it's organic
How else would you get lapras?
Edit: I forgot you can get it from eggs. oops
alt queque not really authentic. it's part of the event with increased spawns of lapras and snorlax
Are lapras that rare? I had 3 spawn up my road in one week not even during the water event, one of which was 1900 with 93% iv
I've caught like 5 in the wild XD
You're so good at editing. Nice video and keep up the great work!
He has problems sifting through Pokestops to find out where the Pokemon is.. Meanwhile I have only a single Pokestop here so I always know where the rare guys are. Who's laughing now, urban boys!?
+Trainer Tips The drone footage synced with the music was so cool! You should do that more often, love your vids!
Agreed!
He has no idea that in the next 3 years there will be a safari event and a raid day just for Lapras. I miss the days of searching for rare Pokemon. Now everything is just handed to us.
i ran around during the water event with my dog when one appeared nearby while walking him.....never found....we also were exhausted lol
grats tho!!!
and the girafarig too! grats!
ThatGamerDad I walked 3miles down the river in my city during the Water Event and was only to catch 5 Magikarps. I seen and caught more water Pokémon away from water.
Kevin Arnold lol I miss that event !! Hatched a lot of "Easter eggs" tho! Posted a lot of them
Found one on my way to college one morning during the event. Didn't have time to go and find it. However, I was able to hatch one about two weeks ago.
Why did I find 1:44 so funny? Grandpa with a cane time lapsed=priceless! 😂
I really enjoyed this episode it was so intense not knowing if you were going to catch it or not. You're an OG
I love these types of Trainer Tips videos, where all he does is Pokémon GO. I still don't mind Nick experimenting on his channel with different things, but for me, videos with loads of Pokémon GO content are the most enjoyable. Keep up the great work Nick!
Will 2K eggs that were spun during the event still hatch event pokemon if they are hatched after the event ends?
Larvitar Dratini I believe so, since what you will get in an egg is decided as soon as you pick it up from a poke stop. Correct me if I'm wrong but that is what I assume how it is🤗
Jonna Kling thanks! I was leaning toward that conclusion too but I wanted to know for sure so I could go on a run tonight just in case I was losing a potential lapras.
Larvitar Dratini yes they will. the content of an egg is determined at the time you obtained it, not when you hatch it.
Larvitar Dratini np:) hope you get a lapras!
Such an amazing feeling when you finally see a Rare in the wild, that adrenaline rush, everything stops and your heart races. Im so happy for you that it did not fled for you! Gotta love this game
Thought for sure it was going to be an Unown
Y'all need to chill. When's the last time you saw a real, and I mean real Lapras spawn. Not enhanced by Niantic, not hatched from and egg, but a real authentic Lapras spawn.
never
2 days ago on my couch...ive caught plenty of lapras.
Two weeks ago.
Ashton Draws found a 100iv lapras at Santa Monica pier, no events were occurring too
1:44 to 1:51 that dude looks like he's glitch walking
Steve Zinck that made me laugh so much
Steve Zinck omg lmao
Dude, this was my absolute favorite episode of all time. Hilarious, fun, brilliant editing, great music, just amazing. You're an inspiration every day!
1:44 EPIC OLD MAN WALK FTW!
Your video editing and comprehensive reporting is absolutely amazing. I just shared your channel to the official Cincinnati PoGo League group on Facebook because you deserve many more subscribers than you've got!!!

This was refreshing to watch. Excited Nick is one of my favorite Nick's. Also dig the epic music.
nick not gonna lie i was on the edge of my seat for that great video man much love from oregon!!!
Filming with phone in landscape orientation in a heat of the moment, you are the real MVP Nick!
Why the blur @ 13:02 You've already disclosed Ur location in previous episodes ......like the one where u missed a tyrinator... :D :P
Kumar Raghavendra Yeah I was wondering that too lol, if someone really wanted to they can find out were
I'd imagine someone warned him about disclosing such details online. Or at least make it so not readily available. But yes, it's kind pointless too I'd imagine since most fans wiuld know exactly where he's new apartment is. Oh well, it's still good practise tho so ;)

I just love how dedicated you are.
Nick, just a heads up there will be LOTS of mosquitos in Australia
the Easter special and now this. most intense PG video I've seen so far. I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't know what you was going for for the longest but glad you got it.
I really hope they implement TM's in the game soon. I just hatched my first ever snorlax from my 87th 10k egg during this event and it has very good IV but has Lick/Earthquake. Very frustrating :(
Larvitar Dratini what level are you because I am lv 26 and have had 2 10 k eggs in my life which were snorlax and eevee
Ben. Zema 30. Only 2?
the chase scene was so epic! loved the editing to show the drone view and the music matched perfectly!
10:16 for the spawn
August Elliott thx
wow. Mr Elliott Killjoy over here
#NoDAPL adm ???
Woaw the view is beautiful!!
It's been I long time since we saw you excited about a Pokemon... with the dramatic music... this is just excellent 😂👌.
YEEESSSSSS Laprasss!! That was fun!!!
If you never been to Japan this would be the first Lapras you caught in the wild since the launch of the game, almost a year!
Great video as always keep up the good work 😊.
not sure if you will see this but I'm ripping through blissey with Espeon.
Yep. Espeon is my go-to 'mon for battling high-cp Blisseys.
I really really like the way you did this the suspense at the beginning is priceless
I though it would be an Unown xD
I too thought that it was going to be an Unown especially when I first saw his Twitter post about this LOL
I think a lot of people deep down are kinda glad it wasn't tho LMAO
It would have been good though if it was a Shinny Karp. The hate herr would be funny as hell
I actually really enjoyed that "chase" scene with the intense music and drone shots!!! Awesome work nick!!!
GJ m8! Can't wait for your Aussie trip! Might even see you around if you come by Melbourne Victoria.
MEET AND GREET, MEET AND GREET !!!¡¡¡!!!
Jonathan Nocon it was his first lapras tho... he caught quite a few already in japan.
hey man i love the Pokemon go content, but your editing skills are what keeps me watching. They are amazing!
Hey Nick that is dead on put some respect on Ice Beam that's how I caught Mewtwo back in the day paralyzed him
Wtf
Cool video Nick! The suspense was killing me! Great Job!

Suspense in the Trainer Tips channel! I loved it!
I got my wild lapras a long time ago
And it was In a rural area
wow!!!
GJ Gamer same
GJ Gamer same
GJ Gamer 2/3 of my lapras were random wild ages ago catches. Don't even live in their main biome. I never saw one all water event and only hatched a Lapras this current event

I live in the UK.....
TANK MANTIS 24132 I got three in one day in Camden

The video suspense on your search for the rare spawn was on point!
Really Nick Just for a Lapras... You gave an expression as if it was a Cluster Spawn of Unknowns
I know
Nick! You have a talent for editing; I could feel the emotion/intensity throughout the video and couldn't look away!
I'd like to take this time to thank all the dipshits who put Gyarados ,Rhydon and Exeggutor in gyms for me to annihilate.
The Lapras run was exciting! Congrats!
lapras
i am just watching a ton of your old videos on a lazy day, and the next time my boyfriend tells me that i'm crazy for running to pokéstops and whatnot, i'm showing him this video to help validate me 😂😂😂
Kaiden Johnson It was not even a legacy Lapras ToT
How can you say that it's ur best spawn when u caught a bunch of lapras's in Japan?
joran Jacquet because now it just spawned on its own, not 'cause an event + its the first one that spawns in his area. it is like i found a kangaroo in Sweden, wild, would be... eh.. wild.... but if i find it in Australia it isnt that cool.
joran Jacquet I'm guessing because this was a wild spawn with zero influence from Niantic.
I feel clickbaited
Jake Enders Me too.
Congratzzz Nick, the suspense was awesome. Very satisfying to catch a wild lapras, found a few myself
Oh um... you may need to change the title some to have something around "(well at least for ME)". Haters aren't going to understand enough that this Lapras means a lot to you as a first wild non-event catch. Get ready for the UGGGGGGGGGGGH CLICKBAIT crap from them!
TheThreeDGrasshopper it says my rarest Pokemon.... it already say it's his one. People are just stupid and can't read
TheSandySavage And they also stupidly replace the word "My" with "The". Like you said, he says it's HIS rarest spawn but people make it out to say it's THE rarest spawn in the game
*nods* I agree w both of you.
Such dramatic editing, I love it haha, I still don't have a Lapras and I've been playing (although only for 10-15 minutes a day) since the beginning!
that click bait game is strong! keep it up
Run Nick Run! This episode was super dramatic! I am so glad that you were able to find it and catch it!
Nick please do a trainer tips vid on how you smoke weed when playing Pokémon go.
Nice to see you and Cassy back on the same screen once again!
I only recently started watching this Channel and I've got to admit your content is excellent! Went down to the pike last weekend since I'm always seeing you down there in vids lol was not disappointed!
great video, nick! i loved the suspense you put into it, outside the event, never got a lapras wild spawn
Well done!!! And love the action music with the action shots.
That editing during the chase was great. Felt like I was watching an episode of the Amazing Race
Love your creativity and drive! Awesome catch...and thanks for the vids 😀
i am genuinely happy you caught that Nick, good on you bud
Not mad at ya. I was pumped when hatched one today glad you still having fun
Love the excitement and video nick! Great episode!
Glad you got your wild Lapras, I know you been waiting for that.
Can I just say this is my favorite episode in a long time. So much personality and good tips.
Keep up the good work, Nick!. Thank you!
Awesome video, enjoyed it as always! I have never seen a Girafarig in the wild before, but i hatched my first yesterday, along with my first baby Cleffa! 😁
I really enjoyed this, Nick. Thanks for this!
That was so exciting! We were guessing what pokemon could it be while watching the video~ XD Great video as always!
Love the emotion in this one! Happy for you and your catch.
Very exciting! Happy for you Nick!
very entertaining. Top-notch use of the background music.
Congratulations, Nick - your feed is worth every Patreon dollar!
cool grind episode! awesome that you get the lapras dude!
dude... I Love this video. really enjoy the live action... I felt like I was on the hunt with u
Awesome episode. I remember my first Lapras in the wild. i literally ran out of my house with my bf and after catching the Lapras we had to wait for my parents to get back to get in the house. Worth it!! Have fun in Australia Nick. Tc
Aww MAN, I thought it was going to be a Unown, Lapras is not bad either though
That Lapras hunt was intense. Glad you managed to get it :D
Also hatched a Girafarig today (my first one! My sister found a Girafarig nest in a seaside town which I found quite funny) but mine knows a psychic move and for some reason Thundershock as well?
especially loved this video, my dude. all your videos are awesome but this one in particular was sick. keep it up!
You've made this episode VERY exciting. I thought it was a Tyranitar lol But intense nonetheless. Glad you caught it! :D
Loved that video! For me that's what pokemon go is about, getting really exited for a rare spawn
