Hello Robert, thanks a lot for the video, everything works, only the Botton 'take me back to index page' is not working. I tried it a couple of times, the Botton appears, it reacts when I click, but doesn't do the action... Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks a lot! Françoise
I have tried this so many times. Poured over countless Tutorial videos and I can't figure this out. I am making an ad for a class and can't use text other than for Table of Contents page and they reference this video. So I have no idea how to reference other pages if you can't use text. I am just beyond words frustrated and no idea what to do at this point. Seems like a good tutorial vid, though can't figure out what I have to do at this point.
Hi, I'm not sure I quite understand the issue you're having. So are you trying to put an ad on an InDesign page and be able to get to it from the Table of Contents even though you don't have any text in the table of contents character style on that page? If, say it's a full page ad, I think you should be able to set the text "Somebody's Ad" in the TOC character style but hide it underneath the ad. Then it should appear in the Table of Contents even though you wouldn't actually see that text on the finished page.
@@rmeeds1 It's not a full page sadly. We have to reference and link to other pages using a table of contents. Just trying to wrap my head around it. I am a student so this is all new to me. Thanks for replying btw :D

I am having the same issue when exporting the interactive pdf - using the destination action for button settings.
Thanks very much...Very much appreciated.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
incredible, thank you so much!
Is it possible to navigate within Indesign with links? Is there another simple way to move around in a document while I am creating it?
Nice!

Good info but this is a little longwinded as a reference tutorial. Would be helpful to have a TL;DR version that's about 2-3 minutes long.
Thank you -- I do these videos for my students who are beginners, so I go into more detail than I would for people who prefer a quick solution.
