it all depends on how injuried Barkov is. If the Panthers do anything the fix will be in, the entire team will be suspended and so will Coach Maurice. If he is injuried, then they goon it up. If he is healthy enough to come back for game 3 or 4, they don't goon it up. They worry more about winning the series. Best way to stop the other team to take cheap shots is to score on your power play. Best way to stop gooning the entire game, is to win the series and be done with it. You punch a hockey player in the face, he laughs. He sits in a box and knows he cost his team the game, he cries.
Maurice knows they need to keep their eyes on the prize! Barky will be vindicated when he's raising the cup! 2 more wins!!!
He also knows how our guys will probably chip in for a yacht to whoever gets one of them back for barky
Paul Maurice is both intimidating and respectful at the same time. Very interesting to listen to him. All the best to him and the Panthers. I think they deserve to win and thought they would early on this season.

The Tkachuk mauling on McDavid's breakaway...no penalty, meanwhile Bouchard's lovetap is called slashing.

I didn't see ANY dirty hits by Panthers this series, almost none this playoffs, though plenty during the regular season.
Well, last season in the Finals the Panthers weren't even close against Vegas. That was a tough lesson to go through so hopefully the Panthers learned something...

I do believe this is the most comments on a FL Panthers coach interview page I have ever seen. Wow Edmonton's shady play and George Parros choices to not give any suspensions has brought so many eyes on the FL Panthers. Parros, one of the biggest useless goons out there with 0 hockey ability is in charge of player safety. Its just a total joke as he was as a player. Couldn't even goon it up properly. 474 games played. 36 points. 1092 PM. Yeah he is a great choice. Nope, he isn't dead tell em to get back up. Now where are my happy pills. .0759 points per game. Sam Bennett 100% deserved a suspension as well. It was an idiotic act and so was Draisaitl’s hit.
Sam Bennet didn’t go looking for Marchand to make that hit, Marchand detoured on his way back to the bench to catch a piece of Bennet and big off more than he was able to chew. Very different from Drai intentionally lining up Barky. Nice try!

When have the Oilers ever beat the best. Kings are a soft touch. Squeeked by banged up Vancouver without mvp goalie, Dallas w/ injured Tanev. When they face the best near full strength (Colorado 2 yrs ago, Vegas last year, Florida this year) the net of the team is not close.
