      @Sports Shorts He's one of my favorite players in the league. He always seems to have a great play against the Packers though. Even in 2018 the year the Cardinals won like 3 games, he had an amazing catch that helped pretty much ended the Packers playoff chances.

      David Anaya II If memory serves correctly, Delhomme’s slump continued into 2009 - he threw 4 interceptions in an opening loss to the Eagles and had 18 interceptions total (and a 59 rating) in his last year as a starter for the Panthers 😔.
      Sad way to end a memorable run with Carolina.

      People forget how consistently good the Panthers used to be. They dominated the NFC South before the Saints.

    • @ajthebestguy9th
      @ajthebestguy9th 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Incorrect, the Panthers only made the playoffs 3 times in this era and won the NFC south only twice. In 2001 they went 1-15 and were themselves in the middle of a rebuild, because of that they quickly rebounded and went 11-5 in 2003. Missed in '04, went 11-5 in 2005 but failed to win the division, missed in '06 and '07, really their best year was '08 which was 12-4 and won the NFC South which was very competitive that year, Saints moving in, Falcons 11-5, Buc's on the final year of Gruden 9-3 before imploding in the last 4 games, but the Panthers fell in this game and that was the end. Year later 6-10 and collapsed to 2-14 in 2010. The Panthers had a lot of really quick rises and quick falls in their history, 12-4 in '96 and 4-12 in '98, 12-4 in '08 and 2-14 in 2010.

      I think everyone remembers DRC considering he was in coverage on the Santonio Holmes play in the SB.
      Wasn't even bad coverage. Some things just can't be defended against. Then he went on to have a few good years with the Giants. Solid CB for a good while.

    Jakes performance reminded me of Eli Manning's performance against the Panthers in a wildcard game at the Meadowlands. It's like the defence were in the huddle with Eli that day, just as it seemed like they were in this game.

    2008 was such a great season! Only one team with a playoff bye survived Divisional weekend. The last McNabb/Dawk/Westbrook run in Philly. Arizona’s magical run, no New England, CJ2k and the Titans were a top seed over Manning’s Colts. Even Carolina was a fun team that year even with this awful loss above. One of the best seasons ever. Shame Pittsburgh won at the end though. Kind of a boring team to win the title in a crazy season.

    Crazy how many underrated players were in their primes here. DRC, Thomas Davis, Steve Breaston, Edgerrin James, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Jon Beason, Antrel Rolle...bet I missed a few more but I didn't really start following the NFL closely until 2012/13 so once I first heard these guys' names they were all vets or some even retired.

    If I may make a suggestion for a video: With the Broncos playing at Lambeau this week, it might be cool to have a video of the game in week 17 of the 2003 season where the Packers beat Denver at Lambeau, combined with the Cardinals beating the Vikings at the same time putting the Packers in the playoffs. Such a great moment. But either way, thanks for all the videos!

    I feel like the 2020 Cardinals roster is the BEST roster we've EVER had💯💯💯💯we are DEFINITELY Super Bowl contenders this season,legitimately,Larry STILL playin at this same amazing level,now you add HOPKINS!! AND you can't forget about Christian Kirk!! All I feel like we need is another really good corner across from Pat Pete && a more polished Tight End,maybe a few trades/signings at the O-Line and we gon be that much harder to beat come time for the Playoffs

    • @KillahSpitVenom
      @KillahSpitVenom 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andrewflynn113 yeah,he still on the team but he got injured early asf,what I'm wantin ta see is Pat P at CB1,someone like a Marcus Peters at CB2 && Alford playin in the slot CB,then we almost guaranteed a playoff appearance

    • @andrewflynn113
      @andrewflynn113 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marcus Peters as a CB2? Bro you insane, no way he'd ever take a CB2 role or paystub when he's a bonafide CB1 on 25+ teams. Let that guy they drafted last year develop as CB2, he got the size for bigger receivers while Peterson has the athleticism for the fast ones, shift Alford to slot, and draft some OL help. Cards OL pretty below average, it helps that Murray is small and quick but he got sacked a helluva lot last year

    Then Jake just...goddamnit...they ran the ball 10 more times, after Dwill had a break out season with zero fumbles and 19 tds...
    Then on defense they just passed Fitz off to the saftey constantly, hed run right past Gamble and gamble would just stay in the zone, and Fitz just tore us up

  • @breakeroutlaw9959
    @breakeroutlaw9959 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You know I'm surprise I look back at the playoffs back in 2009 and the Arizona Cardinals beating 3 opponents at home against the Falcons, one on the road against the Panthers in the 2nd round of the playoffs, and came back in Arizona to face the Eagles in the NFC championship match. So they were in the wildcard position too bad they would have one in the super bowl and become the 6th NFL wildcard team winning the super bowl but they screwed up badly.
