The Vine Grapple and Rhythm Badges are my favorites because they add a unique layer of depth to the gameplay that isn’t just making the game easier in a simple way.
If there was a much better reward for Rhythm Jump, it would be interesting
@@Henke_YT I think if you focus too hard on the reward, then you lose sight of how the badge incentives you to play the game in a unique and fun way.

The boost spin jump is the most useful, but I think the jet run is the most entertaining. It’s so fun to breeze through levels, and trying to beat hard levels (like world 2’s special world level), it can be SO fun to pull it off.
Imagine if someone makes a sonic mod for mario wonder by giving the players permanent jet run

I Think spin jump is the deserving of a solo S Tier because I use it all of the time and having that extra jump like you said in the video is it is very versatile and one of the stages Piranha plants on parade it is so helpful to find the secret exit because I cannot seem to find the secret exit until I equipped the badge. And I use it in almost if not every single stage I play. It is so useful and versatile in its ability.

Just 1 thing of note, dunno if it would factor into anything, but the Fast Run Badge nullifies Sand and some other effects, so you can walk and run faster on those elements, can occasionally come in handy in those areas.

Timed High Jump has been my go-to badge for the entirety of the game as soon as I unlocked it, it just felt so good to use, more than any other badge for me

3:21 i think when you’re in small form, at least some of those only give you a mushroom, so it’s better to have the mushroom from the beginning so you get the power up from the box

My favorite is gliding cap due to how early you get it, it's versatility both vertically near walls and horizontally, and due to the fact that you can spam it to go farther. It's mid air spin but you're sacrificing vertical coverage for horizontal

You know the best is the one that pushes you out of pits, you know you can hit off the wall and then it can save you again
Ooo or you can use spin jump and get high places super easy, makes getting the flag top easy, and stops you from falling in holes
I 100% the game just today and all thanks to the boost spin jump badge (aka the spin from Mario Galaxy, another reason behind my love for it). It is just so good.

Nice list, but it feels pretty biased in some areas. But I'm pretty sure the spin boost is kind of unanimous as the best badge in the game.
For me it’s the wall climb badge (not sure if I even unlocked spin boost yet), as I’m a chronic underjumper and often jump to against the side of platforms, just centimeters away from making it on top of them. Maybe the boost badge will help with that too, I dunno. I’ll have to try it out.
The best badge is the mid-air spin jump badge because it literally gives you a second jump and it’s what I used to 100% the game like 70% of the time. The sound off badge is my personal favorite though, I wish you could new game plus with the sound off mode just always on
The all drill badge makes "the final test wonder gauntlet" so much easier because, if you crouch at the front of the pipe at the start with the drill, you cant get hit, and the burrowing is really useful too
It can also cheese the section with the silhouetted theme since you can burrow through the enemies and even snag an easy 10 coin.
I heard Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the background and its 1 of my favourite games and i love vine grapple to.
I’m a floating high jump main, but yeah the boosting high jump seems so extreme useful
He forgot to mention that you can climb walls infinitely with floating high jump
Same with cap parachute
And grapple vine
it also works without badge but its extremely hard
and even jet run

Spin Jump is in its rightful place. God I love that move.
My fav badge is also boost spinning jump, it’s just fun in a way I cant really describe.
I have to agree for the boosting spin jump It’s pretty good.
I agree that the spin jump basically makes all other jump height badges obsolete. Especially if they don't recharge on a wall jump. The spin boost, vine grab, and cap glide (and maybe fast run) are the only orange badges worth using.
Personally, my S tier includes Boosting Spin Jump, Floating High Jump, and Parachute Cap in that order. Those three badges are almost always going to be a player's main go-to badge because their effects (double jump, higher and further jumps, and gliding) break almost all levels over the knee.
I 100%ed the game recently and used the Sensor Badge exactly once... when that one Poplin told me to. It was helpful in that one level.
The invisibility badge can bite me.
Pretty much the three badges I used (outside of challenges) were Auto Super Mushroom, Safety Bounce, and Spin Jump. And almost always Spin Jump. (But Safety Bounce is how I cleared Jump to the Beat, so I can't leave it out!)

Tip for the invisible badge if you want to see yourself more easily place a standee or emote this will help the player know where they are.

Timed High Jump helped me a lot in the go for 100%, because I didn’t know I had to reach the top of every flagpole. So Timed-High-Jump REALLY helped me
11:45 I 100% the game after just three days and never used it bc i preferred the movement badges much more. Its a lot more fun to spend time looking for secrets.
Vine grapple is op, because using a specific strategy, you can climb infinitely up walls
same thing with the cap glider
you can use the bubble suit to clear the timer switch climb in world three without hitting the timer switches, and you don’t even need a badge. i believe you can also use bubble ladders to beat the world two special stage without needing the platforms
My personal favorite is crouch jump. Ot reminds me of mario vs Dk. And it really useful on most stages

Personally if I did a ranking of wonder effects I’d put the dragons coming alive, top-down perspective and Ninji Jump Party at the top, and then I’d put Piranha Plants on Parade, Jump/Climb to the Beat and the quiz at the bottom. (The quiz was a good idea, it’s just way too easy!)
saftey bounce is my main for when i play but if almost no holes its boosting spin jumps

When I tried useing my least favorite badge the boosting spin jump I found out it was pretty useful
Dude the drill allows you to skip many sections in the game by running underground and you can borrow in the ceiling as well

Jet allows you to run mid air for a brief moment. You can jump midair during this.
Did you know with the bubble power up in the safety bounce badge that if you blow up the right timing then you will have infinite distance

Talk about the drill cause all the power ups except fire and mushroom have the same thing where it really was made for certain levels.

Me too. The only time I used it was in Fungi Mines with the false exit, and only because the poplin told me to.
I didn't use the Sensor badge a single time until after I 100% completed the game. I did watch some TH-cam videos to help find some collectibles/secret exits I struggled with finding, though.

I'd say spin jump is obviously the most powerful, with parachute cap and floating high jump right behind it, but the most *fun* badges are grappling vine, jet run, and spring feet. Spring feet kind of sucks to play through most levels with, but the badge challenges for it were some of my favorite in the whole game. Also, grappling vine makes the most fundamental change to how you play, which I find really fun, especially in vertical, tower-style levels

When I the floating high jump, I never stopped using it. That's why it's EASILY the best badge by 69%😊

I like the idea but the amount of height it gives you seems marginal compared to the other badges
my favourite badge is the lowest ranked gameplay badge (wall-climb jump) it is SO over
The sensor badge would be better if the objects were more hidden, i feel like they wanted to make 10-coins and some wonder seeds harder to get, and not harder to find. That doesnt mean its bad, but i really didnt use it much in my journey to 100%.
You can sneak attack and ground pound on enemies with the drill DUHHHHH
4:10 can't i just point out how bad of an argument it is, like you ONLY unlock the badge when you BEAT THE GAME and unlock it from the poplin shop, at that point, you probally allready mastered other power-ups, and i find even drill being better than this, and even auto-super mushroom is helpfull in the bonus world sometimes, while there is no point on using the fire flower badge over any other power-up badge.

Did you know that you can actually climb walls with the grappling vine badge basically you just spam R and hold the joystick in the direction of the wall you can climb it infinitely
With the parachute cap you can walk jump infinitely tho

Really? The Purple 10-Coins tell you which third of the level they're in. The only really difficult alt exit was World 1-2.
The Luigi jump can also wall jump infinitely
