+Evan Hollnagel Well they're in China. On top of the crowd not understanding what they're saying or what they're referencing, they just beat the home team haha. Don't think the crowd would be very pleased with them!
"The silence in the crowd" - Kobe, May 7th 2016. Say's it all. and this my fellow LoL nerds, this, is how you make an incredible comeback, Pro...fessionally. and just for of the record, this is probably THE best comebacks I've ever witnessed, and from this day forward, i will respect the NA League more than i actually did before this, but don't get me wrong here, i mean, sure i respected them but this game, was truly truly a very huge eye opener for me, so ya if you wondered, I'm more of an Eu type of guy because love their style of play and alos im born ans raised here, but this comeback, was truly a special treat for my eyes. If there isn't a Team representing one of the EU regions, playing for either Worlds, Invitational etc i do usually go for the either NA or LCK.
OMG, I was screaming and crying at the end, I mean watching CLG going this far, they learn from the mistake, they keep the faith. It's so hard not to cry a team used to become a legend in s1 and drawn so bad after so, now coming back to become the king.
Everyone from CLG played that last fight perfectly, Xmithie zoning off the Ekko, Aphromoo binding Wuxx and making him unable to contribute to the fight, Huhi positioning near the wall so that after zed ults Darshan can stun him, and of course Stixxay with the amazing DPS. Congrats CLG on the win.
It's that final teamfight that locked in my full support for CLG during this tournament. Normally as a TSM fan I am encouraged to dislike them but due to them performing so well, unlike the traitors known as G2, I really want them to go the distance.
And they won 4x5 (Huhi is bad at Azir, period), stixxay is indeed a beast, and xmithie is the most underrated NA jungler, always knows how to be useful to his team regardless, not super flashy (like Dardoch, Reignover and Rush) but he always shows up strong and smart.
+Marcus Vinicius Xsmithie has been a god during MSI for sure. 2 of their wins were off the back of him securing dragon over the enemy jungler, turning the game around for CLG.
This is so crazy! I had to head out of the house after that Ekko wombo combo, and was so tilted once they were 8K behind that I didn't bother to watch the rest of the game when I got home. I went to look at the schedule for today and saw the article lolesports had posted and was like "wtf!?" So friggin hype!!! :O
All game these casters were doughting CLG and acting like they were doing the wrong thing, when I knew they were playing great, playing the favorite with RNG while I knew CLG would win. They played beautifully.
all the regions look good this season, cool to see clg won with all losing lanes. Darshan has been relevant in fights despite being behind last few games "Dat team fight" -HotshotGG probably
Huhi again acting like he is all bad early and mid and then rek em all late wow... And xmithie dafuq man i just remember his sej plays and now he is rly steppk g up his play
And so it was written in legends, that RNG threw so hard the game landed on the moon. (Wux getting pinned on that rock by Poppy on what should have been the last fight of the game to end in RNG's favor. WP in the end by CLG, but he never should have given them that chance to come back).
Yeah, but that's what happens when you have such a huge lead in early-mid game. You kind of start to slack off in late game and just let the other fed members of your team do all the work. I'm not saying that they played bad or they got cocky, just that RNG's concentration kind of fell off. Like someone said in the comments, if you look at the last dragon fight, Wuxx just dashed in and suicided. RNG still played amazing though.
If CLG will have Bjergsen they will get World Championship really easy, or maybe make a lane - mid game perfect. anyways huhi do it well in the last two fights
I don't understand it. Huhi is the worst Azir player I ever saw in a professional game - xPeke close second - and yet they win with it against the undefeated Chinese champion. True Counter Logic.
AkatsukiSasuke923 There certainly are a couple pocket picks for specific individuals. Fakers Zilean, Stixxay's Caitlyn, Wuxx Twitch and such, but the meta is still like 20 champions out if like 130
I NEVER DOUBTED THEM
I NEEEEEEEVEEEERRRR DOUBTED THEM
52:40 after that last teamfight kobe going bananas. never heard him so excited that CLG won against RNG
+Censtudios afterall he used to be an ex CLG jungler
+Sho Takahashi really?
+Kevin Cano yeah
+Kevin Cano yup
Which one is kobe? Sorry if its a stupid question to you guys i don't keep up with them
"Look at Huhi, he still has brown bags on his feet! THEY'RE POOR! CLG are just poor little peasants here trying to get back into the game." - Kobe
Kobe's commentary at the end was epic
Rip Kobe:(
Picks & Bans: 5:24
Game: 11:21
+Brayan Henao I love you
One of the most adrenaline pumping games i've seen in a while, loved that game!
Kobe was the best part
I may be european and tsm fan but this tournament made me to cheer for clg
+LearnerGamer I'm SKT fan and i have to give CLG a credit for their play. Well play CLG, they deserved the win.
Same
As a CLG player, how can you not turn to the crowd and shout "Are you not entertained!?" Gladiator style
+Evan Hollnagel Well they're in China. On top of the crowd not understanding what they're saying or what they're referencing, they just beat the home team haha. Don't think the crowd would be very pleased with them!
Picks / Bans : 6:25

Watching this 5 years later. Brings goosebumps, man. Hoping NA can make a good showing at MSI in 2021.
NA will never have team like a CLG never
Yeah.... i hate to tell you.... but this year is looking pretty....
Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
lol you messed that up
+A Smart Ghost I meant it as a play on the traditional phrase.
You misspelled jews
+Hashur Hahi it's funny you say that because when I read his comment I had to read it twice because I thought it said Jews
Daring Ducky that was the point of my comment :)
52:50 Lol Kobe... :o
46:54 BEST ROCK NA, CLG MALPHITE SKIN CONFIRMED PogChamp
Can someone make a montage of all of Kobe screams from all the games he's cast?
"The silence in the crowd" - Kobe, May 7th 2016.

i remember watching this game and i legit jumped up and clapped and cheered, one of the best games to have watched live
COMEBACK OF THE YEAR!!! Plus Spawn's face and Jatt's jubilation at 56:10 !!!!
I have not seen a game this good since.
Came just to remember this game, this made me fan of esports
That was insane
Amazing game, was worth to see it. Nobody trust NA players, but today, a little spot of light was seen.
It's that final teamfight that locked in my full support for CLG during this tournament. Normally as a TSM fan I am encouraged to dislike them but due to them performing so well, unlike the traitors known as G2, I really want them to go the distance.
This is the game that got me into League, and CLG
And they won 4x5 (Huhi is bad at Azir, period), stixxay is indeed a beast, and xmithie is the most underrated NA jungler, always knows how to be useful to his team regardless, not super flashy (like Dardoch, Reignover and Rush) but he always shows up strong and smart.
yeah lourlo
+Dashmin Ignacio oops, my bad... Wrote lourlo thinking of dardoch, corrected now
+Marcus Vinicius Xsmithie has been a god during MSI for sure. 2 of their wins were off the back of him securing dragon over the enemy jungler, turning the game around for CLG.
look at this dragon fight at 48:30 .... holy moly that bronze lucian. he just went in like if he had an dc xD
The game after this, Kobe's voice was audibly destroyed...
Who was screaming at the end!??? RIP Headphones
+George Obusan kobe
4
Those last teamfights; CLG are the record killers
I love Kobe's shoutcasting
what a game clg really got a break and they took it hardtcore back at the ch team waow
+Honcho Gang uw0tm8
?
11:11
Anybody remember the salty freesm fans talking about how clg was gonna make NA look bad? I'm glad clg is going to shut them up lol
+Bebop Team Salty Mid
True, Tsm would've done worse than G2 top kek
48:40 lucian??????
lmao the commentary after the last won team fight had me dying
I NEVER DOUBTED THEM!!!!!
This is so crazy! I had to head out of the house after that Ekko wombo combo, and was so tilted once they were 8K behind that I didn't bother to watch the rest of the game when I got home. Tsms msi performance got me so depressed im rewatching clgs msi
I just noticed but xmithie kept ekko off stixxay's booty for so long in that last fight that it gave them enough time to focus the carries
Probably the greatest comeback in esports history.
I saw the spoiler on the website before watching this game. Holy jeez what a comeback.Kobe's reaction is priceless.
Watch clg vs M5, one of the greatest comeback too!
Stixxay mvp of msi. he saved clg so dam much tbh. Everyone in clg had clutch moments, but stixxay was just crazy in team fights.
holy moly, who wouldve thought kicking DL off the team would pay off this big? Stixxay is playing godlike
Nah it would have been exactly the same. Maybe even better for clg if he stayed
+BOB MASTER Not true.
All game these casters were doughting CLG and acting like they were doing the wrong thing, when I knew they were playing great, playing the favorite with RNG while I knew CLG would win. They played beautifully.
Question: Why is Ekko able to ignore the Azir ultimate at 42:17?
+Juejuek92 I think it is because of the morgana bind.
OMG KOBE PLZZZZZZ LOLOLOL
Bet Aphro would say that game was Ez kappa
FreeNG
At the end we see Aphromoo giving an interview to the Chinese (?) caster. Anyone have a link to the interview?
im here from the future after kobe made a reference to this game when EG danny got his baron + penta vs TL
WE LIVE ANOTHER DAY
Has it been poppy vs ekko in every top lane match up?
No
+Billy Swoboda Yes
+JoelHelms Maokai and Trundle were in there, but as the tournament has progresed, Trundle fell off, its only Poppy Ekko and Maokai now.

+rtnoobify aiight man have a good day
Wtf Kobe? Those Screams lol
+Emil Korac I'm actually screaming just like him during the live. I was like, CLGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG YESHHHHHHHHHHHH
i think huhi kept failing his ult on purpose, just to bait them in, finally worked in the decisive fight^^
Huhi again acting like he is all bad early and mid and then rek em all late wow... And xmithie dafuq man i just remember his sej plays and now he is rly steppk g up his play
I NEED THE MUSIC FROM THE PICK & BANS :(((((

Good casting man too bad we don't get these kinda games anymore
*voice cracks*
I NEVER DOUBTED THEM
how do people look at all those characters at once!?
And so it was written in legends, that RNG threw so hard the game landed on the moon.

Now aphromoo will say: yeah they're ez af.
CLG probably would have lost if that game was on a newer patch with the azir ult changes
still well played though
Name of the song of the champion select?
i never doubted them? umm at the start of the base defence he goes. this will be a god like fight for RNG ?
53:43 Aphromoo friendly hugs Mata
MVP Kobe in the end xD
They Won because " HE NEVER DOUBTED THEM " !
What a game!
Im in love with the chick interviewer at the end
*JP robot voice* "Please sit on my.. faaaaace"
Ah. Im so sad. Hopefully CLG becomes a top contender again
no
52:49: "SEE E@#$LL GEE ARE GONNA WIN!!"
Learning from the Phreak.
RIP to my goats
that arena is so badass
I feel like RNG just stopped playing at the end. Like 'ahhh lets give it to them'.
Kobe is the greatest caster of all time.
anyone here after tactical's kalista vs flyquest ?
52:46 "STIXXAY IS GOIN' OFF AGAIN!"
If CLG will have Bjergsen they will get World Championship really easy, or maybe make a lane - mid game perfect. anyways huhi do it well in the last two fights
Huhi is better than Bjerg. Idc what anyone says.
👍
+xPLCxTempest He hit like one ult haha. And I'm pretty sure Bjerg knows how to pin a dragon wall
+Arguing101 huhi is complete trash on azir. Try to forgive him for that.
Such a classic. Them also beating SKT. The first NA team to ever to beat them, T1, and it was CLG.
I don't understand it. Huhi is the worst Azir player I ever saw in a professional game - xPeke close second - and yet they win with it against the undefeated Chinese champion. True Counter Logic.
+Bumaye HGW adc wins
AkatsukiSasuke923 There certainly are a couple pocket picks for specific individuals. Fakers Zilean, Stixxay's Caitlyn, Wuxx Twitch and such, but the meta is still like 20 champions out if like 130

YOU CAN CHANGE THE GAME BUT THE FAITH REMAINS!!!! #CLGWIN
CLG amazing !!!!
I just cried at 38:36
00:51:40
goodbye CLG 😭
Huhi missed so many ults
Im from europe, usually cheering for them but now with G2 being losers and not preping for MSI I guess NA>rest of the world>AFK soloQ nabs> EU
Spoilers**
Im 42 mins in (the video) and It's incredible that RNG were able to throw this game.
52:40
So many voice cracks. XD
Mejias on ekko.
