Sometimes, when you talk to your 220 sometimes it’ll activate a certain record and repeat function using it’s built-in microphone called mimic mode
For example, if a person respond to the ERS 220 robotic dog from Sony like the owner saying hello and the 220 wall basically just say beep Boop beep so it’s really clear that you can’t understand what it’s basically saying Selena commode is basically just gibberish

Love this space friend! this software looks so interesting

I'm really surprised the dev software is in English. The ones I've seen other people demo in the past have been Japanese. I love the part where she actually does the whistling on command and doesn't pull a Marvel at Sony Square. What a good bo!

And I believe he looks so very futuristic it looks like something out of the Austin Powers movie he may be jittery and jam worthy but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best I honestly really like him

Or it’s kind of hard to activate mimic mode for any aibo ERS model, except the ERS7 models, they don’t have that feature only the older models do

The ERS 220 is probably the most lights heavy, articulate in Mobile of all Sony smart AI walkers

If your 220 is on boost mode, tell me is he can basically learn from other models using several various sequences of notes to communicate with one another
Some notes makes the other models or the 220 learn other communication notes from the previous models

Did Japan Sega toys I dogs not the US version by the Japan versions also has that mimic mode feature too

Put the Sega I dogs you can activate mimic mode easily when it’s not listening to music or when it’s in standby mode where it shows it’s all animation when mimic mode is activated, you will see a green and red dot and you say something and it’ll repeat it back to us Morse code like sounds
ERS 220 is basically much more harder to make it activate mimic mode

It really does look advance for its time. I wonder what could we have today if Sony did not stop developing aibo..
