Aaaahhh, the delightful dulcet tones of the Wabtec AA-2 horn!
Ever since when did the headlights lenses point in each direction?
5:00 I never understood how it looks slow coming in but was faster completing the turn screeching then pauses then loud train banging against the track but i still love them for it
7:03 all that rumbling I hear that at every station I thought at first it was just city hall turns out it’s at every stop mainly when a train is coming towards u and ur at a distance
The Market Frankfurt train line is also at City Hall although the stop is called 15th street station. The two stations are connected by a walkway and stairs. Good video, thanks.
Thanks for bringing that up, I'll change the title for clarification.
I wouldn't change the title since that stop IS called City Hall for the Broad Street line. I enjoy your videos!
4:22 that guy was a cool dude
the old BSL subway trains were great. loud and fast. the start up was a loud bump then the takeoff. hot in the summer and cold in the winter... this was in the 70s...
Malachi loves express trains on the BSL.
That horn tho
My favorite subway train horn, although I haven't heard many of them
Love it man I went to city hall and walnut at fern rock can u make a walnut locust video next?
Consider it done! If you want to see some Walnut-Locust footage right now, SEPTA Broad Street Line Action Part 5 might have what you are looking for!

@@NorthEastCoastRailfan Why didn't you film that 6:45 Northbound Express approaching with its headlights glares?
@@Gojira160 I'm not 100% sure what you mean since at 6:45, a train is taking on passengers.
Not a lot of people for rush hour. What time of the day did you film this?
The BSL is not a very busy subway (at least in comparison to the MFL). I think it was around 4-5 PM. During off-peak times and weekends that station is deserted.
It’s rush hour but not much people ride the broad street line because they got cars
@@Leo-dc4oyyou should see what 15th st station on the Market Frankford Line looks like during rush hour. It is PACKED during that time
At the beginning when the train is turning it does sound creepy kinda scary that's the only problem I have with this line
Gotta love how the only curves on the BSL main line (that aren't switches) are before/after City Hall and Fern Rock Transportation Center. The line is completely straight otherwise. Haha
I wasn't talking about the screeching I was talking about to the banging on the track when the train was turning at the beginning of the vid
@@NorthEastCoastRailfanEver since when did Broad Street Subway trains get their numbers at the front left window?
1:12 666 train
It's not that bad
That woman who tried to stop the doors from closing at the end XD
