Thank you for sharing your day with us! I love seeing your "large and in charge" baby belly. It reminds me of exciting times long ago in my life! Have a blessed week 😘
It is beautiful to see that fluffy white snow but I’m so grateful I live in Southern California. My roses are blooming. You Are right it is a good day to bake bread and have wonderful soup.
Hi Kate, I always feel a little sad when your videos come to a end. I so enjoy them. Great video. We are finally starting to warm up over the new few days, thankfully this time of year the snow never lasts long. Anyways thanks and take care🌷🇨🇦
Yum. That looks so good. I let my starter die. I found out I am gluten intolerant in the process of baking so much bread. So, long story short, I gave up on it. But I so miss fresh bread.
The snow is beautiful! We didn't get much snow in Minnesota this year...it was strange! 😳 Your videos are so relaxing! I just really like the music, too! And your "large & in charge" belly is perfect!! 😊 Oh, that bread looks soooo good!!! 💕
Those rolls look delicious!!! And i feel ya on the awkward bread squishing lol my sister asked to see how squishy a loaf was on duo and i was like whyyyyyyyy
Thank you for this video! I am new to sourdough so I am gobbling up all the information I can. When you say "all purpose flour" is that something you mill? If so, what kind of wheat berries do you use? Thanks :)
You are most welcome. When I say "all purpose" I am referring to the flour you buy at the store, not something we mill. For my bread baking grains, I use a hard red wheat variety. For baking cookies, muffins etc we use a soft white wheat.
What is that music you play with someone whistling. I love it. Reminds me of my Dad playing guitar. He passed 2 years ago. I love your sourdough recipes.❤
I love your videos! I wish i had time for sourdough. But after trying for several months and failing, I realized its just not right for my point in life. Maybe in a couple years life will calm down and I'll try again 😊.
Absolutely! Sometimes we need to give ourselves the grace to leave an endeavour and maybe return to it one day, or maybe not. We all don't have to do everything. For me.....knitting still remains a knotted endeavour, repeatedly tried and failed. But I'm ok with that.
When I take it out of the oven I sometimes wrap it in a wool blanket so it kind of steams the crust to soften it. Once it's cooled I put it in a plastic bag or beeswax bag. That's about it.
There’s no way I’d be able to share bathwater with anybody else, it strikes me as disgusting.I’m sorry, I wouldn’t subject my kids to that either, they deserve clean bathwater, everyone does. A sponge bath with clean water would be better than everybody traipsing in and out of the dirty tub of water imo🤢
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We live where water is a precious commodity. This is how we manage it until the little kids are prepared/able to take showers.

I guess every place has it's good and not so good points. Thankfully we love the snow. I'm sure your roses are beautiful right now.

Something to do with trapping bait/lure for next year??

Hi Andrea!
Very excited to start your Sourdough Course!!
Yay, thank you!
Definitely a great day for baking! I hope all is well with you Kate💜
Thank you! You too!

Oh that is a shame. Have you tried making gluten free bread? There are a lot of great recipes out there now.
Thank you for sharing. Blessings to your family

@@VenisonforDinner Thank you so much for clarifying! I really want this sourdough journey to work so perhaps I will venture into store bought.
Ugh snow...I'm in Maine and we've definitely had snow happen in May on occasion 😂
Oh yes....it's annoying when it snows in May. We need the moisture badly so our brief snow was a blessing.
What is that music you play with someone whistling. I love it. Reminds me of my Dad playing guitar. He passed 2 years ago. I love your sourdough recipes.❤
Thank you so much. I'm sorry for your loss.
The music is from TH-cam music library you’d have to tell me what part in the video so I could tell you.
It started at 12:36 on your snow day video and also at shaping the buns. I don't know if that helps. Thanks for the condolences.
I found it. I just love it. Have a great evening!!
Pa Wilder would call that snow poor mans fertilizer!

How do you get toddlers to eat scrambled eggs? Mine have all gone through a phase of not wanting them around age 2-3
Oh that was always hit and miss and it depended on the child. Some still prefer a fried egg over scrambled!!
My perfect cup I keep missing 😢❤️😤
Oh dear!
I wish I was your neighbor. We'd get in allot of trouble and learn alot!
Now that sounds like alot of fun!
I need to make bread! Its been weeks, almost, well probably at least a month now since ive made some and we are OUT!
Yes, make bread! It's always a winner!
How do you store bread so it doesn’t get hard? You baked it at night and saved it for the morning - my bread would be hard as a rock by morning
When I take it out of the oven I sometimes wrap it in a wool blanket so it kind of steams the crust to soften it. Once it's cooled I put it in a plastic bag or beeswax bag. That's about it.
What type of wood burning stove do you have? ❤❤
The brand is called Heco.....and we love it!
@@VenisonforDinner Thank You!!
Can you tell me the name of the music I think I know the song. Thank you for help and continue on your great family and your Chanel.
It’s from TH-cam music library you’d have to tell me what part in the video so I could tell you.
Thanks so much.
Beaver castor for trapping?
Yes!
I’m new here, so when is your son due to arrive?
Our baby is due in the beginning of June. Thanks for joining us.
