I’m about 6 weeks into ownership of one of these. Bought a 70 plate from Motorpoint too. It’s quirky and pokey enough but needs a bit more oomph and exhaust noise. I’ve ordered a Mountune SmartFlash to get a bit more bhp and exhaust pops which should scratch that itch!
@@mountys yep I got one when there was a promo discount on. I wouldn’t have paid full price. Difference in bhp and torque is noticeable but exhaust note doesn’t change.
I'd be even more impressed with the boot if it had a bloody spare wheel! It's not a great experience waiting 4 hours in the rain for the AA/RAC to arrive and sell you a vastly overpriced tyre because the manufacturer has decided to mug you off by telling you they've done you a favour by giving you "extra boot space".
I prefer the space. It has been really helpful in several ocasions, and it’s just the size of muy child cart chasis, saving a ton of effective trunk space. In 25 years driving I have never used a spare tire. I have always repaired the puncture. Of course it can happen, but I really prefer to have that space. It’s much bigger than it appears on video
Great review very good fun video, I ordered a puma st in mean green colour in mid April this year will be here in Scotland in first week of November cant wait so excited, it has the new ford performance seats they look lovely 👌👍🏴 greetings from Scotland 👍
Thanks John! Are those the new non-Recaro seats from the new Fiesta ST? They're meant to be as good if not better than the Recaros. Enjoy it when it comes! - Tim
Had mine 3 1/2 years now, awful build quality, not much room in the back, lightweight doors, very poor display for the radio/audio and i gave the larger 12” additional screen, it has reasonable performance and good looks, adept 7 speed auto is one of its better attributes though pricey! some novel styling and convenience ideas, but everyone has one in this area now so not as individual, and now they are over 3 years old they are getting stolen with increasing regularity, im guessing to sell spare parts off of them now the manufacturers 3 year warranty is up, but my 13 year old 2.5T Kuga petrol mk1 beats it hands down on every level. Would i have another, definitely not.
Loved the “Loafer’s”
Comment cracked me up, I’m picking mine up Wednesday… looking forward to driving it great review 🙏
Thanks! Enjoy it when it arrives -Tim
A good review and fair comparison with the Fiesta ST. This is the first time i've heard about a 1db difference in the exhaust noise.
I remember the boring things from press presentations many many years ago! Thanks for the kind comment and watching - Tim

Glad you're loving it - enjoy the extra horsepower!
Did you have the MT SmartFlash fitted? Thinking of one myself as I agree, it just needs waking up! Be good to know what it's like. Thanks

You sell this car brilliantly 😂
Can you please do a review on the Ford Puma ST 1.0L MHEV 2024 facelift model ?

@@motorpoint yeh exactly the same ones, they look awesome an are comfy too I sat in one the other day in showroom at ford Elgin 👌👍🏴
This is one of those small cars I'm very surprised isn't brought to America. America likes a small crossover SUV more than hatchbacks. Great video!
It would be great. Glad you enjoyed watching!
I think at 1:18 he said why its not sold in America
Hilarious and very entertaining, great review.
Thanks John! 😀
Brilliant review, question my Puma St puddle light is the ST logo……have it been changed?
Thanks Stephen! I got confused - it's the Puma on non-ST versions, and the ST logo on the Puma ST - Tim
Another competitor would be the Mazda CX3
I ORDERED ONE BACK IN JULY STILL WAITING FROM HENDY , PROMISED 2ND DEC STILL WAITING AND DISGUSTING COMMUNICATION FROM HENDY ???????
But given it's a fast Ford, how stealable is it?
Good question , I’d like to know
