Hello, I have a question regarding connecting PackStack instances to public network so they can access outside. My OpenStack is running on CentOS in VirtualBox. The CentOS adapter is set to Bridge mode. No other adapter is attached to CentOS. I have looked a lot in internet but can't understand the concept of public network. Do I have to create a NAT network in VirtualBox and connect CentOS to it? Can I even do this at this stage? Also should I modify the network adapter configuration files inside the CentOS too?Could you please give me hint?
On your VM, one of interface should be connected to NAT(for internet and connected to repository) and second interface connected to Host only network( for openstack(neutron)) and third interface should be also Host only network( for SSH from Host machine), It's always good to have a dedicated network for different things. I had setup openstack on RHEL 7.2, I use the same configuration. I did it on single guest. It's advised not to use bridged interface( as if you are moving betweeen offices/home or college/home) you will lose the IP.

I like what you did but you never showed the high level configuration and you never showed us what hardware you using or the requirements. It been good had start with a diagram how showing us your config. It would have been better.

what's the point of using 10.0.2.15....You can't access it from Host machine....you need to login to guest machine every time....

or you can install microstack which is openstack which is bundled in snap

@@engsara9380 for xenial support you want minimum 8gb of RAM if u have less than 8gb just upgrade that, then it'll work perfectly.

When I change it to 18.4 it worked perfectly.
