The Airline Jetsons Jr Bass is one of the short-scale models in our range. As RJ Ronquillo demonstrates, this bass really delivers great tones. More info: eastwoodguitar...
I have two of these. They were manufactured in different years. Positives: hot PU, balances well standing, looks cool, reasonable quality (maybe not for more than $399, but it's okay I guess), fantastic large control cavity route so that you can change electronics easily. Negatives: very pricey for what it is, BOTH of my examples needed a 1 degree neck shim-in 45 years of owning/buying/selling/repairing basses I've never needed to use more than a .25...there is something wrong here with the way the neck pocket is cut if it needs that severe of a shim. I'd prefer a standard 5-hole fender style bridge plate-this oddball makes it difficult to put a better bring on since the holes will not line up. One bass has thin frets/the other has medium-jumbo?? The thin one needed dressing and leveling. It also uses goofy, non-standard neck screws...sheesh..these are the cheapo screws that easily twist off. I'd replace them with stainless, but they are not a normal Fender size, so you have to plug the holes and re-drill-just use normal/regular parts please.
Very Cool Looking Bass...But I purchased one last November and it turned out to be a very cool looking piece of Junk! I was surprised by the lack of quality control on the part of Eastwood. The main problem (not including the low-end hardware) I had was the pickups were not installed properly so the strings did not line-up as they should over the pickups. I notified Eastwood with my concerns and all they said was take to a local shop for repairs. Though this repair is not super major, it will still require re-routing of the pickup cavities and a new pick-guard. I live in a small town and really I don't trust the local repair shops with this project. I could do it myself but why should I!! RJ, just blowing off some steam...Love your channel & playing...Keep it up!!
Hey there, Sorry to hear that you've not been satisfied with your Jetsons JR Bass! We offered to cover the cost of a local fix as it's often the path of least resistance to solving an issue (no need to ship things back and forth this way). However, we always maintain our 30-day return policy should the decision be made to instead send something back for refund, exchange, or repair. Any inquiries regarding either of things are best directed to us via e-mail at info@eastwoodguitars.com.

So far this guy can play guitar and bass like a boss, this dude is freaking sick.
He great drummer 2
RJ kills on whatever instrument he plays -- plus, he clearly knows the difference between "bass face" and "guitar face." Respect.
