Sir Tom Jones is an absolute legend and one of a very small list of people who can outshine Will Smith on the couch without even trying.
Many people can outshine Will Smith. He’s just loud so he seems like he has a lot of charisma but in reality he doesn’t. Anyone with a decent amount of wit will outclass him.

Why would you even compare the two? One is a middle aged actor the other is an old singer.....no comparison.
@@karenacton3854 Both are legendary entertainers and charismatic individuals, albeit in different fields (though Will Smith did try his hand at music a bit). So, absolutely worth a comparison in my book. :)

Adding Tom Jones in that episode was genius. Something no other tv show has done. Like friends could have added a character from baywatch for Chandler and Joey.. Well you get the idea

That was a great episode of Fresh Prince. Tom Jones shows up in the middle as Carlton's guardian angel, and like It's a Wonderful Life, he shows how the Banks home would have been like if he was never born. Kind of an odd interpretation of that, but it was a sitcom though. 😁
My aunt lived in London in the 70s for a couple years & I remember when she came back to the States telling me about being in a dance club & rubbing elbows against Tom Jones when she was out on the dance floor. She told me she was never going to wash that elbow again.
Well at least he didn't get her pregnant and then refused to acknowledge his child.

I went to Sir Tom Jones’s performance in Mexico City in 2016, it was awesome 👏 , I was in the 3rd line with a flag of Gales and sir Tom Jones saw me shaking the flag, suddenly his production staff sent me a couple of tequilas and sir Tom Jones close and eye to me, I raised the tequila to him thanking the beautiful detail
Took me 90 seconds to realise Gary Barlow was sat in the middle.
When I was younger and I heard Tom Jones sing. I thought he was American. But after watching Fresh Prince and heard his speaking voice I realised he’s a Welshman.

Tom’s acting was actually pretty decent in the Fresh Prince. Most of the times when a celebrity makes an appearance, the acting is terrible.

I don’t really understand his reasoning either. Affair or not it is still his son. I think I read somewhere he is living in a shelter. That in itself is wrong. Hopefully when the old boy pops his clogs that son will get what he is entitled to. I’m sure any solicitor would take that case on!!
