But if you follow horse racing religiously (instead of watching NBC coverage once a year), you’d know none of the horses in the oaks had any health issues and they all came out of the race okay. 🤷♀️

Omg the racing industry needs to get a life, this is such a horrible sport,do u know how many horses get in accidents whether it be death or injury, or how they train them at two years old and her bones aren’t even done developing. Or by overdosing them with drugs the point where they could die. And for the horses that don’t make it get immediately sold to a auction house and if they don’t get bought then they go straight to a place to get a bullet to the head and die. It’s such a sad and horrible life to live I am absolutely disgusted by the horse racing industry
Why do the jockeys bump their chest and act like they did something?? It was all the horse, you literally just sat there and got a free ride until the end where you whipped the horse....

Lawrence Redfilm anybody who has risen horses can do that. One jockey is no better than another on the track. It’s not like any other sport where one play is better than the other, all of them are the same. Switch jockeys and the same horse will still cuz the horse is doing everything
@@fmeh5268 That's not true or you could argue that people should be saddling Kendrick Carmouche to jock the horses. Jockeys like John Velazquez have a unique style and the best jockeys do a better job controlling pace and keeping the horse's stamina up.

Horses have preferences and temperaments too and some horses mesh well with better riders than they do others...some horses will even bond with one person and only perform for or tolerate that person riding them and no one else..and actually being a jockey is a very hard job...I have ridden horses since I was three, but I could NEVER be a jockey
Our Lord Harambe I understand that, but overall it’s the horse is it not? I would say about 80% is up to the horse and it’s speed and the rest would be the jockey. Majority is done by the horse. All I’m saying is the jockey should be thanking the horse after the race not bumping his chest as if he single handedly did it like Usain Bolt does
