Here’s some critical info: there’s no acid in alkaline batteries. That corrosion needs to be cleaned with a mild acid like white vinegar or lemon juice.

Pinballibles, can you use something else instead of AAA batteries or AA batteries like a rechargeable lithium battery pack or USB battery back? can you make a video lesson on troubleshooting lamp matrix circuits and switch matrix circuits?

Hey Wayne, for your first question, yes, there are a couple different alternatives for the battery terminal like putting it remote or replacing it with capacitors, a watch battery, or NVRAM. All these options have their own pros and cons and the right one really depends on what type of machine you got.
