- This started out small but by now you should all know I'm not one for tiny projects 🤭 This was totally unplanned but once I got into it, I found myself enjoying a fairly new technique (for me) with shading and lighting, something I've dabbled with before but not too much of. I want to try to bring a little life to these videos moving forward to try and balance the fact I absolutely DESPISE coloring. Hope this can somewhat satisfy the lack of color
Context: It's open mic night (a talent show?) and Amy wants to overcome her stage fright. Singing in front of her friends is one thing but a whole crowd? Sonic and crew assist her during rehearsal before the big show, having done this song and dance before (Dudeitude) and hoping to boost her confidence with a little help from their lead singer, Sonic. Whilst overcoming her fear, she overcomes another fear in the midst 🤭

It's interesting that you chose to set the "moment they fell in love" vibes in a rehearsal instead of during the actual performance, like in a lot of typical romance films or TV shows, which I think works better as it keeps Sonic and Amy's relationship more personal and private instead of showing off to the world that they're an official couple.
Twas honestly unintentional but I LOVE THAT PERSPECTIVE AND WILL STICK BY IT 😆😆😆😆😆😆 (Consider this a one-shot of many more "moments" they'll fall in love 🤭)

Recently, I've noticed that Sonic has been portrayed as someone who does amazing things, but still has a little of self doubt. Like he catches himself asking if he's doing the right thing every now and then, but he looks at his friends, and realizing he does that for them it makes everything worth it. Your animations, even if only for a minute or two, capture that part of the character, and moments like these really show you where Sonic's strength really come from. Thank you, Sherry, you showed me what makes Sonic special for me again.
