Happy Birthday and Fathers day Eddie! We have grown lemon cucumbers and they are good cold and on a salad or make a cucumber salad. (Make a lemon olive oil dressing, dill, salt and pepper
) Toss and put in fridge for an hour and they are good. Everything is looking great! I have grown corn in a small area like you did, go for it!!!!!!!. I'm going out today and cover our garden with shade cover. Forecast 10 days out is 102 to 105 and no rain. God bless yawl.

And the French pole beans are amazing. I grew Boston pickling cucumbers and their coming out my ears. I’ve made pickles, relish, and cucumber salad. The cows even like the big uns I missed. We’re about to hit summer temps here in Texas so no telling how that will effect my lil garden. Stay cool!

What do you use to not have vein bores in the squash
I wish I had an answer for you. Last year I could not grow a squash big enough to eat before the vine borers would get them. This year I have not had any issues with them as of yet. I do sometimes put some 7 dust at the base of the squash to try to help with them.
