I just wanted to say a sincere thank you, Jon, for taking us along on these awesome backcountry trips. It's been a long time since I was able to get out. Needless to say that life is just like those rivers we run. You can never step into the same river twice. Always changing, ever new. Sometimes challenging, sometimes a bit scary. But all, in all, an epic and enjoyable adventure. I sure do appreciate tagging along, though. Thanks again brother 👍.
As usual with full version reposts, I tried to polish it a bit more, there's some footage I included the first time got cut, some that I cut before is now in, and a Q&A based on questions from the original multi-part series is at the end. The Q&A is the last 15 mins of the video. *Note on the PFD* - I still had my old life jacket on this trip and it was very uncomfortable for paddling. This used to result in not wanting to wear it, except in rapids when I felt it was critical. I now have a paddling PFD and I wear it all the time. For Erin's sake more than anything, because it would not be fair to her to die that way. I'm not PFD police but I will just say that a comfortable life jacket that's designed for paddling will make all the difference. If you hate wearing a PFD on canoe trips, you might just need a different one.
Hi. I just wanted to thank you. I have always wanted to go on canoe trips into the backcountry, but didn't think I had the skills. You made it irresistible and since I have found your channel, I bought my own cheap first canoe and started making my own memories.
You made my Friday! Been very depressed but you, Erin and nature fills my soul. Love you both when your together or solo trips. It’s something in my younger years I would love to do. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and nature❤️❤️❤️
My Dad just went to Heaven on Feb. 5th but before he died i showed him this Video and it put a great smile on his face. As Paddlers and fisherman as we are too he understood the beauty you had captured. Thank You so much Jon. I did buy my Amok hammock and my 1st trip is in June and the big one in July... so excited..
Love your videos Jon... They warm the spirit on a cold winter's night out here in B.C. and bring back memories of growing up in northern Ontario and canoeing with my dad. For mosquitoes we use a mix of natural essential oils like catnip, lavender, eucalyptus, etc. mix and match to your scent preference but include catnip if you can find it... For ghiardia and other waterborne parasites we use Oregon grape rootbark tea which contains berberine when we are out in the wild as it grows almost everywhere on the coast... Must be something your native elders use back there... A nod to the natural from us geriatric gypsy canoeists...
Thanks a lot Brian! Erin's mom has since got me some natural repellants (similar to the ones you mentioned) which I'll have to try this summer. Would love to know a natural water treatment method with local plants...I'll have to look into that :)
My husband and I discovered your channel about 3 weeks ago. We LOVE watching them and prefer your videos over regular TV programming. We’re into nature and having lived and camped and fished in Northern Ontario, (Chapleau, The Sault, Temiskaming, North Bay), it’s like coming home. Oh how miss the loons! We love checking out everything. Love your appreciation and care for nature, love listening to your thought processes on life, love the occasional misjudgements and ‘whoops’ too 😆. You’ve got a winner. By the way, you should create a cookbook of all your delicious looking camping meals $$. Makes me want to run into the kitchen and try them out! Now I’m going to play Mama here, because, we’ll b/c I’m old enough and been there done that 😉. It’s been concerning me that you and your lovely Erin, though eating mainly healthy meals, eat enough sodium based and sugar laden foods, to really make an impact on your health. 4G of sugar = 1 tsp of sugar - Yikes, and daily sodium sh/b no higher than 1500mg. Heavy sodium and sugar consumption leads to complications in later life. I remember being your age and I wish someone would have told me. You love what you do and you want to continue that well into your 50’s, 60’s and even 70’s. It’s all about maintenance now, better life later. End of sermon 😔. Take care and keep on, keeping on!
I've now watched this twice, the first time in your 3 part series and this new one. I have to admit to really liking the editing, I am starting to take notice of ways that I can improve my own videos after seeing yours! Thanks for sharing, was enjoyable to watch this one again.
Amazing AMAZING trip Jon!! Once again your observations and reflections resonate so perfectly with what being in the wilderness and nature is all about.I so appreciate your humble, determined, positive and resourceful spirit! Such a privilege to come along with you 💜 Thank you 😊 B
Watched the the whole video.. Love that book man. Growing up in the Catskills, I read that book, (Hatchet) along with My Side of the Mountain. Love these videos man, always look forward to these.
I'm just casually watching this as a mental break from my work. It's so relaxing to just chill along with Jon while he's off on another adventure. Thanks for the video!
We used to watch Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and Jacque Cousteau, I love that your channel and a few others leave me with that same anticipation of looking forward to an adventure.
It’s always a pleasure to see kindred spirits.Thank you for posting As much as we are all different there’s something about nature that brings out the best in us and grounds us whether we’re alone or sharing company along the trail.
Hi Jon and Erin. This is Peter in New Zealand. My wife and I are living in COVID level 2. (4 being lock down), so limited restriction in movement. Totally enjoyed your Lost Lakes videos. I'm married to a Canadian, Janet, from Kitchener. My daughter was born in Toronto General and my son in Collingwood, Georgian Bay. I'm a kiwi who was a Landed Immigrant for 11 years, working for CBC-TV in Toronto and also owned and operated a a small motel in Collingwood. So Northern Ontario brings back happy memories. Your filming is remarkable and I like your natural commentary without self-aggrandisement. The limited canoeing I have done, is down the Wasaga River and in Algonquin Park. Looking forward to more films. Best wishes from down under and a safe exit from the virus.
What an absolutely amazing journey. The level of quality in your footage and production is also incredible. I watched the whole thing. I am longing for warmer weather to embark on adventures like this once again!
What a gorgeous start to the trip. Really nice to hear you missed your good lady, trips like these always help us put life in perspective and reminds us of whats really important.
Admiral job being alone filming such epic footage of your amazing journey. I loved the Erin talks reminded me of Wilson the volley ball that Tom Hanks made as his friend when the airplane crashed in ocean waters and left him deserted. You two so blessed to found each other. May you have a long life's together living out what brings you Joy!!!
Didn’t expected to watch it all, but here I am 2 hours later... Man. this should be on Netflix. Also, you have a brilliant eye for capturing beautiful moments and excellent editing skills. 10/10
So pleased I discovered you and Erin , John! Been binge watching your channel for days! Give Erin a high 5 from Wayne from Oregon ! You must be so proud of her! Especially the one where her soles came off her boots! Your very very lucky man to have her! What a team you make!
Thanks again for the wonderful video of the scenery and sounds of nature. I love seeing and hearing the call of the loons! It compliments the wilderness and remoteness of it all. Yes it’s hard to go back and face reality after being out on your own for a wilderness trip but you have a very special person waiting and welcoming you back which makes it all better!
Thanks Jon for another awesome video. I appreciate all the hard work you put into them and how you endure what the elements throw at you. Loved the Erin commentary so hilarious 🤣
Excellent. Thank you Jon. We either learn by making the mistakes ourselves - or seeing others make them. Thanks for 'taking one for the team' with that questionable 'run'. I've done a lot of things, that i look back on, and wonder how I am still alive. Canoeing in croc country - around islands with crocs much larger than my canoe .. stupid and lucky. And lots of other, equally stupid stuff ... if others can benefit from our mistakes, it almost makes them worthwhile. Thanks for filming yours. Love your work. John
Loved both the series and this full-length film - very well done. Your videography, storytelling, humor, and respect for nature all contribute to making this one of my favorite channels. Thank you! 💜
Jon; thank you for sharing your very high videography skills with us. Incredible scenery, you have very high wilderness skills, and your respect for nature and kindness towards the animals and fish is exemplary. Greg / CT
That truly was a magical trip, tons of great content, thanks for re-posting it Jon. You've come a long way buddy, I think this is your finest work to-date, VERY well polished & a perfect launch with the re-branding. Head to toe, I loved it !! The Erin/Wilson bit.. I thought the bit was over and then, there she was in her usual spot at the front of the canoe, LMAO... We missed you Erin but, Jon needs his alone time LOL.. Great job, Cheers !
Was great to watch this trip again, unabridged. Just as good as the first time watched it in 3 parts. Rapid Fire Q&A is excellent format, hope you do more.
Hi Jon, your videos are by far my favorite, I'm older, had a few heart attacks along the way. But I now have a nice Mad River explorer (Kevlar) and an amok hammock. I WILL be going out this summer. Guessing that bird call was a Raven but don't know your area as I have never been there. I live in the Pacific Northwest so know those birds a little better. Be safe and thank you and Erin for taking us along.
Really appreciate that Tony! Good on ya for fighting to keep what you love...make this summer yours my friend. And I think you're right about the raven :)
Enjoyed another one of your adventures, it is sad watching how we are destroying nature, it bothers me deeply, but at 63 I've seen alot of change, I'm am still closer to God when I'm on the water or in nature! Love the uglystick, have had one for years! Envy, the walleye fishing! Caught my first pike this year, here in the Ozarks! God bless!
''You gotta be kidding me, that was awful.... awful...'' says with a HUGE SMILE SPANNING ACROSS HIS ENTIRE FACE!!! I relate to the feeling brother nice video!!
Few paddling videos feature such clever and intelligent banter. Some are definitely cringeworthy or what's worse, unsettling. I think you have a great attitude and on-screen persona, and some awesome skills. And that's from a lifetime film-maker. Glad to have made your acquaintance.
So wonderful you found a sole mate. The trick is you know who you are and then when you found her the glove on the other hand fit. Very special and often rare. Wendy
Man you have the life. I wish i could do what you do. Unfortunately age has finally caught up to me, but thank you again. Keep on going giving hope to all young and old. True naturalist you are an inspiration for all who love nature and how valuable it is. Cheers.
Even if I never get out to explore all the beautiful places you’ve been, thanks to your effort in filming, I can revisit these places again and again, as if I have been. I always find myself tracking your journey on various maps....thinking maybe....someday. Jonathan...It feels as though you’ve already travelled and explored more than most...and yet we all know the best is yet to come. Thoroughly enjoyed this latest edition. Now whenever I see that beat up old aluminum cook pot I find myself thinking....that’s going to be on display someday in a museum somewhere....commemorating the life of an amazing adventurer and conservationist. It has been such a pleasure thus far Jon. Thankyou.
Can’t wait for next...I think I like the one big episode more but loved the series too. Lost Lakes is growing on me! The name fits your passion...beautiful as always....thanks!
Hahahahaha Awesomenesssss......The only thing my wife heard was The Flaming Lips hahaha... we've seen them sooo Many Times.....Thanks for Taking us on this Great Adventure.....
YESSSSSS, now THIS is what my Friday night needed. 😁 The more of your videos I watch the more I tell my wife we're going to retire to Canada someday and I'll canoe my days away.
I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed watching this video. Reminds me so much of my time canoeing in Canada through the Boundry waters. The outdoors is like no other. Well done and I can't wait to see other videos you've made. Shawn Brooks Fort Lauderdale Florida
Pointing fingers on a really cool update. Excellent photography, narration, and a job spot on. ! Thank you very much for sharing what must have been a lot of hard work, again well done.!
Man, I was / am so looking forward to the winter, and the ice fishing season. However something about watching that pike slam that paddle tail in the shallows on that calm day just started me thinking I need to start planning out my summer trips. Q and A was a great addition too.
Always a real pleasure to watch your movies Jon. 2 hours just flies by. So relaxing too. Keep up the great trips, it makes for some wonderful entertainment, it really does.
A wonderful journey with you -- very personable, well-filmed, beautiful video captures, lovely philosophical insights, exciting but with moments sharing the peace of nature. Made me ache to go again to the Boundary Water Canoe Area of northern Minnesota, not so far south of you. Glad I found your channel. Will be sharing! P.S. I read "The Hatchet" by Paulsen 3 times: once myself and two times aloud to each of my two sons. A family favorite!
I truly appreciate this Kit!! Last summer we were in Quetico for two weeks on the other side of the border :) Special area. And that's a special memory/tradition--love it!!
Great redo of one of my favourite stories of yours. Was a nice surprise to see you on Ara and Metta to close out the trip. Been there as well, a few years back on a fishing trip on Brace Lake, also part of that chain. The far north is so great.
Hi Buddy, I only started to watch your videos a few days ago. I really enjoy it. Well done, especially the nature shots, birds, moose, bear, etc. I'm from New Zealand working in Taiwan so I really miss the outdoors and Canada reminds me so much of New Zealand. You have a new fan!
Currently in lockdown here in the UK so your videos are an even greater treat than usual - thank you! The Q & A is also very interesting. Looking forward to the next video.
Love your videos they just transport me into the deep woods.Thank you for that.Carefull pushing on dead trees the top can break off and fall backwards and land on you.Got that advice myself from an old tree guy. Cheers Jim the Marine
Thanks for reposting this John! I really enjoyed the original and it was nice to rewatch. The bear scene is super cool! Rare black bear with a white chest blaze! Cheers!
Hahah...yessir, don't think I've ever mentioned that. Brings you closer to the middle which is better for weight distribution. The closer you are to one end, the more the light end will lift out of the water...that can be brutal if you're fighting the wind.
I try to watch one of these canoe trips or outdoor survival trips on you tube each day and this guy is great and so down to earth, I cant think of the right words to describe these adventures as amazing doesn't even come close. So I have made a list of these out doors man and you make it at the top with Zack Fowler coming in a close second, For third place comes in Chris the wooded Beardsman and his good friend Jerad. I started watching these after watching Jim Bairds down the Yukon river a year ago. Finally I must give a big shout out to Greg Ovens, For some reason I just love watching his vids. Greg's and Zack's 30 days in the Rockies has been my favourite episode so far but watching lost lakes makes me feel more in touch with the wilderness even though I'm classed as a sofa slouch. Anyways you and Erin continue these amazing adventures and as always be safe and wish you all the love and warmth for your future from a far away Geordie ( Newcastle ) in England
awesome canoe adventure to bad you didn't have a cover for your canoe going through that one set of rapids well done always love to see otters when out and their antics .as well as other wildlife . when I am crown camping in the north for two weeks I feel very sad and depressed when I have to leave and even more depressed when I arrive in the city , I feel I don't belong. And have a longing to return to where I left. epic adventure
Been on Ara and Meta lakes via fly in outpost outfitter. They had the 12-15 foot Lund boats. Believe me you don’t want to get out there in middle with high winds/storm. Waves were about 3-4’ but felt like 5-6. Quartering was tough. Had two groups. One cabin on north shore of Ara and the other was on north shore of Meta.
Great video quality, well done. Your trips remind me of the trips we took back in the early 80's. We used super 8 kodachrome film back then. As for bug repellent we has Muskol with 98% deet, now we use 30%, so I guess we are lucky to be in our late 60 s now. Keep up the great work you do in the wilderness.
Very nice trip. I have watched both versions and will probably watch them again. If one has not taken a solo trip and produced a video, they just can't believe the time and effort involved. I sometimes just have to put the camera down and take in where I am and rely on memories. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jon. I don't know if you look at comments for older videos, but I'm VERY anti-bug and have found using a ThermoCell in a hammock before bedtime works great for clearing the hammock area, and giving you a clear shot to get in and zip up. (Turn off once in) Of course it's for you to decide if the weight penalty/benefit is worth it.
Very much appreciated JP!!
As usual with full version reposts, I tried to polish it a bit more, there's some footage I included the first time got cut, some that I cut before is now in, and a Q&A based on questions from the original multi-part series is at the end. The Q&A is the last 15 mins of the video.

Hi. I just wanted to thank you. I have always wanted to go on canoe trips into the backcountry, but didn't think I had the skills. You made it irresistible and since I have found your channel, I bought my own cheap first canoe and started making my own memories.
Thank you Paul! Love to hear that and hope it serves you well :)
Me too. LOL. Thanks!
Congratulations Paul..., you are an inspiration for others who share your dream.
You made my Friday! Been very depressed but you, Erin and nature fills my soul. Love you both when your together or solo trips. It’s something in my younger years I would love to do. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and nature❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Beverly! I know these are sad times but hang in there...there's hope this year 💚💚💚
My Dad just went to Heaven on Feb. 5th but before he died i showed him this Video and it put a great smile on his face. As Paddlers and fisherman as we are too he understood the beauty you had captured. Thank You so much Jon. I did buy my Amok hammock and my 1st trip is in June and the big one in July... so excited..
Aw very sorry for your loss Michael. Thank you for sharing and I hope you have a terrific trip in your Amok

My wife and I just finished watching.... so cool! We’re still laughing over the ‘Erin conversation. Thank you!
Hahah thanks you two!

Thank you so much for the kind words, and motherly advice! I know you're right 🙂🙂
Agree too re sugar, far less migraines and headaches. Wish my husband would listen though.🙄
Enjoyed watching you at Peace out there. Also the Q&A was a great bonus. answered some of my queries. The moldy garlic bread was tragic~~~!!!!
Thanks Shug! What happened to that garlic bread still haunts me... a tragedy to be sure
Great video. Captured some excellent wildlife shots all in one trip WOW!!! Looking forward to the future of Lost Lakes.
Thanks so much Ian!!
You and your net stories crack me up! What a great trip.
I've now watched this twice, the first time in your 3 part series and this new one. I have to admit to really liking the editing, I am starting to take notice of ways that I can improve my own videos after seeing yours! Thanks for sharing, was enjoyable to watch this one again.
“My only dry shoes!” 😄 I know that feeling! Nice shots of the lightning!
Amazing AMAZING trip Jon!! Once again your observations and reflections resonate so perfectly with what being in the wilderness and nature is all about.I so appreciate your humble, determined, positive and resourceful spirit! Such a privilege to come along with you 💜 Thank you 😊 B

You da best Toozie 🍻
I literally just came to say this!
Seconded!! Very few channels make me excited like this one!
Thanks Jon! This is really helping us get through the winter/lockdown. 👍
What an absolutely amazing journey. The level of quality in your footage and production is also incredible. I watched the whole thing. I am longing for warmer weather to embark on adventures like this once again!
Thanks so much Mason! You and me both....counting down the days
As an angler i appreciate how you take care and make sure the fish you catch are okay :)
💚💚
A true outdoorsman!
I remember the day this dropped, it's still just as fun to come back and watch.
What a gorgeous start to the trip. Really nice to hear you missed your good lady, trips like these always help us put life in perspective and reminds us of whats really important.
Too true Steve :)

Another awesome video! Thanks for the awesome content Jon
Thanks TotL!!
Just when i thought that all summer canoe videos was over. Saved my day.
Didn’t expected to watch it all, but here I am 2 hours later... Man. this should be on Netflix. Also, you have a brilliant eye for capturing beautiful moments and excellent editing skills. 10/10
Hey thanks P DP, I greatly appreciate that!!
Thanks for an enjoyable trip and for taking me along for the ride.
This is one of my faves....and I think I've seen almost all of your videos! Love it! SO glad you came through!
So pleased I discovered you and Erin , John! Been binge watching your channel for days! Give Erin a high 5 from Wayne from Oregon ! You must be so proud of her! Especially the one where her soles came off her boots! Your very very lucky man to have her! What a team you make!

Really enjoyed the video, don't know how you tolerate the mosquitoes! The missing Erin scenes were great.
Thanks Jon for another awesome video. I appreciate all the hard work you put into them and how you endure what the elements throw at you. Loved the Erin commentary so hilarious 🤣

my wife goes "hes so brave, id be so scared'. I go .. "he's a mans man". she agreed! these free movies are fun!
Hahaha thanks Gabriel :)
Loved both the series and this full-length film - very well done. Your videography, storytelling, humor, and respect for nature all contribute to making this one of my favorite channels. Thank you! 💜
Thank you so much April!! 💚💚
So much here to process. I might have to watch it twice.
Watched from the beginning to end. Another great journey! Thanks for sharing.
Jon; thank you for sharing your very high videography skills with us. Incredible scenery, you have very high wilderness skills, and your respect for nature and kindness towards the animals and fish is exemplary. Greg / CT
Truly appreciate that Greg!!
Hahah very much appreciated Pete!!
Was great to watch this trip again, unabridged. Just as good as the first time watched it in 3 parts. Rapid Fire Q&A is excellent format, hope you do more.
Thanks Canesser! Plan to continue the Q&A format for re-posts especially so there's something new for anyone who watched the originals :)
Ravens make so many noises as they mimic noise they have heard...they are amazing!
Kissing a portage sign? You've been in the woods to long. lol
Great trip and adventure. Nice to watch on a cold January night.
That's my lawfully wedded method of transportation you're talking about!! Lol thanks TLF!
Hi Jon, your videos are by far my favorite, I'm older, had a few heart attacks along the way. But I now have a nice Mad River explorer (Kevlar) and an amok hammock. I WILL be going out this summer. "The scotch is too heavy". Said. No. One. Ever!!
LMAO.. Tru Dat !
Well, maybe a white claw enthusiast.
God bless!
What an awesome adventure! Very nicely done Jon!
You could make your own bug dope. 3 parts pine tar, 2 parts caster oil, 1 part pennyroyal oil. Pioneers in the States used this recipe.
''You gotta be kidding me, that was awful.... awful...'' says with a HUGE SMILE SPANNING ACROSS HIS ENTIRE FACE!!! I relate to the feeling brother nice video!!
Hahah just one of those "gotta laugh" moments. Thanks a lot Tristan!!
@@LostLakes I just noticed I also have the exact same hat as you do. I love it!!
All my fishing adventures are Catch & Release ! Thanks for not wasting wildlife 🎣
I watched it on my sat night and felt asleep dreaming myself having one of those trips! Love the rainbows and 🐻! Thank you 😊
LOL! It’s like nature sneezed on me. I forgot about that line!
Few paddling videos feature such clever and intelligent banter. Some are definitely cringeworthy or what's worse, unsettling. I think you have a great attitude and on-screen persona, and some awesome skills. And that's from a lifetime film-maker. Glad to have made your acquaintance.
Thank you again UGRN! Certainly still learning the ropes as a filmmaker but really appreciate the support
Enjoy every one of your videos, without exception. Thank you so much.
Perfect trip Jon, thanks and I hope your channel grows and grows, I’ll spread the word
Well done. The wildlife was spectacular. And a little taste of summer goes a long way right now .
So wonderful you found a sole mate. The trick is you know who you are and then when you found her the glove on the other hand fit. Very special and often rare. Wendy
So true Wendy 💚
Man you have the life. I wish i could do what you do.
Unfortunately age has finally caught up to me, but thank you again.
Keep on going giving hope to all young and old.
True naturalist you are an inspiration for all who love nature and how valuable it is.
Cheers.
I do indeed...holding on to it while it lasts :) Thanks so much Jordy!
Thankyou.
Hahah thank you so much Mark!! As for the best being yet to come, I hope this summer proves that true :)
Can’t wait for next...I think I like the one big episode more but loved the series too. Lost Lakes is growing on me! The name fits your passion...beautiful as always....thanks!
Thanks Mikey!! I agree, I prefer as a viewer to be able to watch a series on my own schedule so I'm increasingly moving to this format :)
Hahahahaha Awesomenesssss......The only thing my wife heard was The Flaming Lips hahaha... we've seen them sooo Many Times.....Thanks for Taking us on this Great Adventure.....
Ohh man so jealous!! Thanks for joining me!
YESSSSSS, now THIS is what my Friday night needed. 😁 The more of your videos I watch the more I tell my wife we're going to retire to Canada someday and I'll canoe my days away.
Hahah I highly recommend that plan
I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed watching this video. Reminds me so much of my time canoeing in Canada through the Boundry waters. The outdoors is like no other. Well done and I can't wait to see other videos you've made.

Pointing fingers on a really cool update. Excellent photography, narration, and a job spot on. ! Thank you very much for sharing what must have been a lot of hard work, again well done.!
Thanks so much donnyboy!
Calling that pelican from a distance was a nice touch, brother. My respect for you just went up a couple more notches🤠
Hahah thanks again JP 😜
Hatchet is 1 of my favorite books! Great video bud. Wanna do a similar trip myself
Beautiful Beautiful trip...I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!!!
Such beautiful surroundings at the falls on night 2.
DUDE!!! That was a good line, held on strong at the end!
Man, I was / am so looking forward to the winter, and the ice fishing season. However something about watching that pike slam that paddle tail in the shallows on that calm day just started me thinking I need to start planning out my summer trips. Q and A was a great addition too.
Hahah I know that feeling...winter's great, but there's just nothing like a moment like that. Thanks man!
This is calming to have on in the background while i am doing other things.
Great trip John! Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks ITWWB!!
Always a real pleasure to watch your movies Jon. 2 hours just flies by. So relaxing too. Keep up the great trips, it makes for some wonderful entertainment, it really does.
Thanks so much Dave!
Beautiful video. The bear was adorable, but looked pretty big! I especially liked your tribute to Erin, castaway style. Made me smile😁
Hahah thanks Anyse!
Thanks again for bringing us with you, realy enjoyed it again. Wanted to say alot of thing but i ll just keep quiet............🙏🏼
Jon - I gotta admit, I re-watched this in between periods of the Leafs game. Awesome trip, really appreciate you sharing the route
Hahah better than I would've done...hockey takes priority!
Glad to see you know what you are doing. Last time I saw a pelican in the north was Saskatchewan in Aug.'94.
Great redo of one of my favourite stories of yours. Was a nice surprise to see you on Ara and Metta to close out the trip. Been there as well, a few years back on a fishing trip on Brace Lake, also part of that chain. The far north is so great.
Thanks Chris! It's the promised land...let's hope it stays that way forever
Do a video on how you dehydrate food and then do some recipes.
I'll be watching this for the next couple days. TY. Sorry Erin couldn't make it!!
Saturday night after my fantasy football draft... No better way to spend the evening! Great editing!.
I eat pineapple a few times a week.. Love it too!
Same here Michael...the saga continues. Thanks so much!
Cheers!
Thanks for the Q/A as well bud!
Thanks a lot Teunis! Glad there's some value in the Q&A because it's something new for anyone who already watched the original series :)
Well I made to the end! like always a fantastic experience.
Thanks Krystal!
Erin go Bough~~! Enjoying the trip but more to watch. May have missed it but do you paddle the two person canoe backwards when doing a solo?
Hahah...yessir, don't think I've ever mentioned that. Brings you closer to the middle which is better for weight distribution. The closer you are to one end, the more the light end will lift out of the water...that can be brutal if you're fighting the wind.
@@LostLakes Thankee for the intel. Will watch the rest tonight as my pre-slumber lollygag.
I appreciate your sentiment. But all your food, bar the fish, is from the system we live in.
Another AWESOME trip!!!!!!
Thanks a lot RxR! It's true, sometimes it's at the expense of the moment but my memory is poor so the long-term benefit is huge :)
I was leaning with you in the rapids and laughing with you and the end lol 😂.
Thanks for another wonderful trip.
Hahah thanks Danny!
Wife and I cheered when he bagged the paddle
Extremely enjoyable. Couldn’t stop watching. Thanks for living my dream.
Thanks a lot Mark!
Outstanding Jon, some of your best photography / editing.
Thank you Jamie!
