I love Seventeen's covers of Super Junior songs. They perform them in a way that doesn't aim to be "better" or anything like that. It's like a tribute performance, and they do so with just enough of their "Seventeen" flavor that it isn't better and it isn't worse. It's them, but it's also a SuJu cover. I haven't seen other artists do it this way yet. Seventeen performs in a way that makes me happy as an ELF, there's so much respect in the way they perform. And so much nostalgia!! I got goosebumps watching this performance and this video! Thank you for this!

Unique Scarlet Actually is really touching see SVT covering to any song. They are so respectful and always put such a big effort on those stages that always leaves you speechless. I’m really proud of being carat, SVT is such a talented, hardworking, respectful and amazing group. They really deserve all the love. If there’s one thing I like about watching BTS and SVT’s covers is that they are so well prepared.

as an ELF, this just broke me. I was having a total melt down yesterday because of this cover and now seeing it like this it's just... wow. let me rant for a bit because I'm just way too emotional and why not ;^; one of the things that got me so in love with seventeen is how much they reminded me of suju - not just the number (since, ya know, suju are 15 and not 13. and half of them are in the army now) but how much of a family they feel. after getting into more kpop groups i have come to realize that it's kinda rare to have a group that all of the members (especially if they're such a big group) genuinely care and love each other so much and feel like a family, a lot of groups are just co-workers which is fine, but as an ELF this is one of the thing i love the most about suju. and seventeen gave me that feeling right away, since i only started to like them after their debut and they've already been together for a long time at that point. also idk but something about their music and the way they're performing just give me a vibe similar to suju. it's not really about their style since they have a different style than suju (though both of them are more on the pop side of kpop while a lot of groups these days aren't really my cup of tea), but there's /something/ about them that really remind me of each other. also, on a more personal note; u is one of my alltime fave suju songs and i have such a strong emotional connection to it, so seeing my babies covering it so well made me so fucking emotional ;^; like a hunderd times more than sorry sorry even though i saw them performing it live (way before i knew them lol). and it's just. i don't know, of course it's not 100% the same (especially since some of them have really different voices, like kyu vs woozi and hyuk vs coups) but it's just so amazing and they've done so so well. and one last thing because this comment is already way too long - heechul is my ultimate bias and jun is my bias in seventeen and like, i know we talk a lot about how much they look alike, that's one of the reasons i liked jun in the beginning (though obviously i like him more than just because he looks like heechul lol), but it's just. it means so much to me and i'm so emotional because that little shit did it on purpose i know he did lol, but he sang so well and his facial expressions were so similar to heechul and i'm so so so impressed because that's not really just being pretty like him but actually having the same charisma as heechul and it's one of the reasons i love this song so much, because heechul is such a big part of the song and just ;^; uh sorry for the rant. if you actually read all of this pls comment XDDD
I did. I am a CARAT, Junhui biased, at first he caught my attention because he looks like Heechul and just like you, I love him more than that reason. I like Super Junior, I knew about them since I was grade 3 but I never became a big fan because I went fully into kpop when I was in grade 8 only because of EXO and because finally we have our own internet... I’m really proud of being carat, SVT is such a talented, hardworking, respectful and amazing group. They really deserve all the love. as an ELF, this just broke me. I was having a total melt down yesterday because of this cover and now seeing it like this it's just... wow.
let me rant for a bit because I'm just way too emotional and why not ;^;
one of the things that got me so in love with seventeen is how much they reminded me of suju - not just the number (since, ya know, suju are 15 and not 13. and half of them are in the army now) but how much of a family they feel. after getting into more kpop groups i have come to realize that it's kinda rare to have a group that all of the members (especially if they're such a big group) genuinely care and love each other so much and feel like a family, a lot of groups are just co-workers which is fine, but as an ELF this is one of the thing i love the most about suju. and seventeen gave me that feeling right away, since i only started to like them after their debut and they've already been together for a long time at that point.
also idk but something about their music and the way they're performing just give me a vibe similar to suju. it's not really about their style since they have a different style than suju (though both of them are more on the pop side of kpop while a lot of groups these days aren't really my cup of tea), but there's /something/ about them that really remind me of each other.
also, on a more personal note; u is one of my alltime fave suju songs and i have such a strong emotional connection to it, so seeing my babies covering it so well made me so fucking emotional ;^; like a hunderd times more than sorry sorry even though i saw them performing it live (way before i knew them lol).
and it's just. i don't know, of course it's not 100% the same (especially since some of them have really different voices, like kyu vs woozi and hyuk vs coups) but it's just so amazing and they've done so so well.
and one last thing because this comment is already way too long - heechul is my ultimate bias and jun is my bias in seventeen and like, i know we talk a lot about how much they look alike, that's one of the reasons i liked jun in the beginning (though obviously i like him more than just because he looks like heechul lol), but it's just. it means so much to me and i'm so emotional because that little shit did it on purpose i know he did lol, but he sang so well and his facial expressions were so similar to heechul and i'm so so so impressed because that's not really just being pretty like him but actually having the same charisma as heechul and it's one of the reasons i love this song so much, because heechul is such a big part of the song and just ;^;

I did. I am a CARAT, Junhui biased, at first he caught my attention because he looks like Heechul and just like you, I love him more than that reason. I like Super Junior, I knew about them since I was grade 3 but I never became a big fan because I went fully into kpop when I was in grade 8 only because of EXO and because finally we have our own internet... But I like SuJu so much and I respect them so much. Thank you for sharing your feels.

"U" was the first song that got me interested in suju and i remember replaying every single version of their live performance until their next comeback - sorry sorry came out back then. I recently got into seventeen after watching some of their vids, and I really like how genuinely real they are, and how much they care for each other like a family. it's indeed rare to find it in the kpop scene, especially for such a large group with more than 10 people. I also find their live performances similar to suju in that sense where they really get to have fun on the stage, and they always keep a smile on their faces even during mistakes or accidents. personally, donghae is my ultimate bias and seeing mingyu and jisoo (my two biases in seventeen) singing his part is just TUT

Suju are a leagued group, so you can't really compare them to seventeen, but seventeen I have to say did a damn good job, they did so well! I'm so proud of them. And they are a rookie group too! So that's means they did a super seventeen job. I hope seventeen can get more fans soon. By the by I'm a totally E.L.F. So for me to say they did a really great job is good. Of course I still love super junior more, but seventeen did great.:) who do I think is better? None, both group are amazing and talented. So both did an = good job. :)

recently, some of the seventeen members visited super junior at ss8 concert in japan ( i am not sure where) and suju boys sang ' don't wanna cry' of seventeen . after concert, they also treated their juniors! kim heechul also mentioned jun as his ' son ' in knowing brothers when seventeen was guest. i love how seventeen respects suju and suju loves them!!! hope they will be a legendary group like super juniors!!they also started with 13 members. hope they will never ever lose any members.
