What a humble person and a super great bowler! He's been a team member of Three world cup trophies (1999, 2003, 2007) and Man of the tournament in 2007 World Cup... That's an unbelievable record and yet he is so modest... :)

yeah we miss that Australian team...Indian Cricket team is winning at the moment but it has not been able to be as dominant as tge Aussies from 1999 to 2007
Now thats what you call a Legend! A crowd will gather to see you no matter where you are, thats the kind of love and respect cricketers of the 2000's command, most of whom are thorough gentlemen!
Seeing Glenn McGrath off the field is amazing in itself. He is such a simple and grounded man.
Kamiya is a superb host... She is same with everyone can't believe.. She is not intimidated nor she looks down anyone. Good personality. Her conversations are good and crisp.

Thankfully someone mentioned our greatest bowlers Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad. Our fast bowlers didn't get the appreciation they deserve.

so glen is remarried...last time i knew about her spouse was about the first wife..who had succumbed to cancer...but good to learn that he has moved on in life...what a cricketer though...an impeccable and perfect line and length bowler, one of the greatest ever...In the video, i liked how Kamiya ma'am asked Glen if he was confortable having the sugarcane juice from the roadside..Nice interview

Superb interview Kamiya, you did the classic Mumbaikar South Bombay hangout with him. Gateway, Olympia, Marine drive. Glen McGrath was also very chill despite the heat...Aussie cricketers off field seem to be nice like Brett Lee, Matthew Hayden. On Field they terrorised us in late nineties and early 2000s. But we fought well too...lots of great memories. Great work Kamiya...way to go!

McGrath, during 90s and 2000s how much I and many other used to "hate" you because you would won many battles against Sachin. Now you are old, I am old, I realize that it was not hate but a grudging respect towards your skills of highest quality.

if i was in that crowd at the end would have requested Glen if would oblige me with a hug...these are our childhood heroes: Srinath, Tendulkar, Dravid, Mcgrath, Bret Lee, Adam Gilchrist, Sangakkara, Flintoff, K Peitersen, Shane Warne, Muralitharan, L klusener, D Steyn and the list goes on and on...But Glen is one of the greatest bowler to have represented the game...to see in person would have overwhelmed and would have been too emotional for me

@Curly Tales: I really enjoyed the interview. i like how it was a perfect blend of cricket talk and amchi Mumbai. This is the kind of 'India' experience I would expect as a foreigner. You get to walk the streets, eat the local food, breathe the air and feel the vibe. Kaiya- the bargaining game, the bus ride and the local food ideas were brilliant! I have never seen this side to Glen McGrath before.

It feel's so good when player's reffer to srinath and venkatesh Prasad names. They played in a condition when India was transition. These guys had a perfect action for a fast bowler and we're calm and composed. Channels like curly tales, what the duck, breakfast with champions or Spicy pitch should interview them. We have heard a lot about current player's. Please get player's from 90's who played in sharja, coco cola cup. I would love to hear those tales aswell.
