I use to watch hours of trout fishing videos on my free time, your videos have stolen some of that time! the scenery, music, narration is truly professional. Since I retired 10 years ago our family has had a lot of medical issues that have diverted my plans to be in the back country. Wind River is one of the beautiful unspoiled lands in our country. I was there in 2018 and loved it. Oddly it was smoky then as well. I guess its just that time of year. Definitely on my list of things to explore more of. Happy Trails Cat!

Your powers of observation in incredible. How you are able to hike, photograph it and see individual scenes of butterflies landed on flowers just absolutely amazes me. I am not a good photographer but I am picking up how to improve. I recall your 2019 hike there and I think the wind river range is one of the best hikes. Beautiful there. This movie is like a journal entry that has come to life. It takes us on a trek with well chosen music and perfect narrative augmented with cinematic panoramas and stunning vistas.I have talked with backpackers who have gone to Titcomb Basin and have read their trip reports. None were able to capture the experience as well as Catherine has.

It was fun to meet you at the Pole Creek trailhead on Monday just as you and your friends were finishing your trip. We followed the same trip itinerary as your group and enjoyed 5 beautiful days with blue skies and smoke-free days in the Winds. Your video is wonderful and it was great to re-live our adventure thru your camera.
What an amazing trip your group had. That smoke was sure bad driving up to the Pinedale. How funny that on your last night, our group was only camped 50-75 yards away!
it's me again, i just had to watch this again. the WIND RIVER RANGE trail it's self is beautiful. the lakes, ponds, and streams you crossed or traveled beside. the views, the views! lf someone were to ask what is the high light of this trail, i would have to look at them in astonishment! like wow, the trail, the openness, the open pastures, the mountains, THE TRAIL is the highlight! I was hiking along the south rim of the Grand Canyon once, and it started to rain, and something I had just become so used to, was enhanced so much, that it seemed like a revelation to my senses. The smell of sage, really just seemed to permeate the air. With the ionized smell of the rain, it was so great. I just stopped, to concentrate on it. I didn't want my own walking to distract from it. I felt like the luckiest man in the world.

What a stunning hike Catherine! To be among "Natures Glory" is truly a gift most never experience. The view in the evenings alpenglow is beyond words. I too have experienced such beauty in fly fishing the Sierras and I'm always amazed of the colors in the canyons when the sun sets over the mountain tops.

That part of the Winds is beautiful. It nice how hight the trail starts at makes it an easy entrance. I was just on a 7 day trip in the Big Sandy Opening. Pyramid lake area. I have been hiking in the Wind River Mountain for many decades and there are still places on my list to hike it to.
