황산나루에 모여든 고깃배와 비릿한 생선 냄새가 그립다. 황산옥 뒤 우암 송시열선생이 세운 정자 팔괘정이 앉아 보면 노울이 지는 하구로 희미하게 사라지는 금강의 모습은 너무도 아름답다. 상인과 어부와 선비가 함께 어우러진 참 묘한 장소이다. 이곳 황산나루 부근 화산 아래에서 있었던 뱃놀이가 노론과 소론과 남인이 갈라서는 당쟁의 시작이라니 참 아이러니하다.

@@topspin9588 강경이 고향은 아니고 강건너에 선영이 있어 성묘차 황산나루를 이용했습니다. 지금은 다리가 있다하나 가끔 황산옥에 들려 식사하고 팔괘정에 올라 금강 경치를 보고 돌아왔습니다. 강경과의 인연이라면 조상분들 중에 말술을 마시고 힘으로 강경시장을 제압하셨다는 영웅담 같은 이야기가 집안에 내려오고 있습니다.
