To avoid any "freezing" or "choppiness," try a bigger video card. I had the same problem after uploading somewhere but after I got a 4GB card, there's no freeze of "chop." The Kodak Z1015IS camera is a fantastic product.

Canon makes great cameras, but the SX10 can not record in HD video. Once you start recording HD video you would never want to record in lower resolution(640x480). Playing back the Kodak HD video on a big plasma/LCD HDTV is totally awesome.

This is because it is playing in low bandwidth mode, TH-cam does not give me an option to play it at HD mode by default. Click on watch in HD at the bottom right corner of the movie.
Also, TH-cam compresses the video therefore it's still not the same quality as the original file.

I use my laptop card reader and also USB SDHC card reader and I have no problem with the sound. When you try playing back the video on your camera, do you hear any sound? If not, then there maybe a problem with your camera. Also what software are you using to watch the movie on your computer? Try using VLC media player, it's alot better than Quicktime
