Hey doc, i've recently bought a small stirling engine online and i find it quite fascinating, seeing in your last video you machined some parts for an engine for the video, i think you could actually machine parts to make an actually working stirling, it's not too difficult though, the most difficult thing is probably getting the glass tubes needed and the pistons which require precision to have a good seal with the glass tubes, but the rest of the parts can be made from pretty much anything, brass,steel,copper,stainless steel etc. The engine i think would sound very good for an asmr video as it pretty much has no combustion, it uses differences in heat to drive it self, so the only things you hear is the flywheel and piston, just a video suggestion, would be fun to see you try to make one for a video. Would like to see you make your own design, maybe add some color into it like you did with the tingle reactor which was marvelous in my opinion. Tip: for the glass tubes you could try to find glass syringes as those are pretty precise, they come with their own piston which has a very good seal which can save some time in making it. Edit:I was wrong when i said the engine has combustion, it does it's just external, the flame is basically the combustion
I love the really high quality stuff you do where you're constantly in character and where you're serious and all that, but its always good to get these (still very high quality) videos where you are more laid back and singing and occasionally breaking character! I love your videos, they are amazing, keep on keeping on doc!

Doc and Ephemeral Rift were my go to asmrtists when I first found it, MANY hours have I listened to these videos to help me unplug relax and feel better. I started watching when things werent going great for me and life has had its ups and downs but im doing a million times better and im very grateful for doc and his videos.
