The cool thing about ocean spray is they are a coop owned by the farmers. When they got their website redesigned a few years back the farmers in the coop all had to approve of it :)
coop = lite version of cartel. Lol.
@@zulfika_ better than a capitalist company.
The bad thing about ocean spray, is they bully the market
@@avishjha4030 reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee capitalism bad

So cool to learn this. I love to eat Ocean Spray whole berry cranberry sauce year round. I just get a craving for it! Chilled in the fridge, straight from the can, yum. It's not only for Thanksgiving. Bless these farmers for their hard work and a bountiful harvest.
Have you ever drank cranberry juice?
The perfect food is the best prevention which is better then a cure...or an Vaccine...God didn't provide vaccines should tell us everything....my vaccines grow from the land
@@tony98discovery yea, it's good
Omg my husband is the same way. When we do eat it, we have to get 1 extra can because he’ll eat it straight out of the can 😂
Ocean spray has the best cranberry products out there
We’re so lucky that people decide to run businesses like this so we have a variety of food to eat.
I never knew Ocean Spray was owned by the farmers. I will go buy some right now.
Elementary school field trips are nonstop during harvest season. Great fun.
They took playing Harvest Moon to the next level.
Have you ever been to a cranberry farm?
I was expecting a drab informational like how it's made but this was expectedly chaotic and full of personality
Lol you should talk about the giant spiders that inhabit the bogs and how they climb up anything to escape the water, including the big workers. Didn’t believe it until I saw a video, those workers don’t make enough.
bro its a myth these farmers have been telling their new farm hands to freak them out.......its an old mans tale.
Most of them are grown in Wisconsin! We also use tractors and other equipment so there’s less manual work.
this seems like the most chill business
Ocean Spray is so cool, this makes me happy :)
Im glad I watched this. I grew up seeing commercials of the cranberries in water and really thought they were aquatic plants. 😂
All I know about cranberry harvesting is wolf spiders. Lots and lots of wolf spiders.
Thanks, all! Fun article and super informative
Haha I always wondered if those pools of water, that they stand in, were real like in the commercials.
I can even learn to swim in lakes that aren't full of cranberries haha
I love Dan Does videos! This was really cool to see :) thanks
You’re making me homesick. I left Massachusetts in “82”
Thanks for sharing the experience
Thankyou for such a delicious item in many ways grew up knowing ocen spray.
Grew up in the south shore, used to love bog walks and skating on the ice as a kid.
Are the cranberry fields near you large?
As someone who lives with a person who is absolutely addicted to Ocean Spray cranberry juice....this was actually kinda interesting.
I used to play in the cranberry bog behind a place called outdoor world in Massachusetts seeing this brings back memories 😁
I am glad they mentioned Wisconsin. :-)
We actually have 3 Ocean Spray Processing Plants here. :-)
And a murderer who worked for one.
Wisconsin 🖕
Ocean Spray 🖕🖕🖕
@@heatherschroeder6532 What does that have to do with absolutely anything?
@@popculturedon it's an ocean spray video...Ocean spray employs alcoholic murderers in Wisconsin...I said what I said. That's what it has to do with Ocean Spray. You can read my original comment... 🙄🖕

I love all the ocean spray flavors 😋🤩😋😋😋. I drink them every day. Thank you 😊🤗🥰
I hope you will continue to show us your traditional cooking. It’s better than watching all those world famous chefs . Also your traditional attire and lifestyle are so wholesome , healthy and peaceful. It’s very soothing watching your videos . And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
It’s not Thanksgiving without cranberries! 😋
Great to see how they harvest billions of cranberries
I watch a video similar to this every holiday season. Still just as cool.
This video is going viral for sure
This is so good to watch cuz I literally guzzle down three liter bottles of Ocean spray cranberry juices
Thank you! I always wondered how it all happened.
Thank you for the cranberries, we love them.
I’m drinking them right now!! 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Good food and good times Thank you Lord!
this is so cool!
3:13 Last thing you want is springing a gasoline leak in the middle of your bog. Propane just turns to a gas, no contamination of the soil or water.
Exactly right! Neither soil, water, nor fruit!!!
Dan’s a good reporter. Carrying this channel
I've been in that bog! Very cool
crazy how the field looks empty, then boom. That is a crazy amount of cranberry's in that little area.
I like how they didn't mention the spiders
bro its a myth these farmers have been telling their new farm hands to freak them out.......its an old mans tale.
Washington state also has an Ocean Spray plant.
Great big cranberry toilet bowl!
I love cranberries 😊
I just started watching this not knowing I had a bottle of ocean spray right next to me … crazy how coincidences always happen in word ways JAJAJJAA
Living in tomah wi I learned a lot about these
Me: here for the Processing (canning)
Video: 98% harvesting
😂
Is that Middleborough Massachusetts ??
All I Know is that Ocean Spray's Can-Grape Juice tastes like THE ELIXER OF GOD!!! So good...
Then you learn about how the spiders all float with the cranberries when you flood the bog and they all climb to the tallest thing around... you
Where is Part II of this?
Damn that dude aged well , cranberries probably have good anti aging benefits
Yes! But I would say that most cranberries consumed today is accompanied by tons of sugar, thus offsetting any health benefits.

That looks like Duxbury or Kingston. My cousins lived there.

I like you Sir Dude
How much sugar is really added because the ad says they don't but I know they do
Good
How do you deal with pests?
kill em
so the plants grow in the dry field and then it is flooded under 2 feet of water. people & machines stomp all over the submerged plants to harvest the floating berries...eventually the water drains. how do the plants survive this and doTHEY produce the next years berries?
I'm pretty sure I watched the same exact video last year...
They're not the first channel to produce a video on this topic.
I sell bermudas too
where are the wolf spiders ? lol
Bro boutta save up for the community center for the vault bundle💀💀💀
So cool new trend is to copy each others top youtube food channels destination trips, is there more places than the same 3 places you foodies go?
Why do they flood the dry field to harvest them
Come to Wisconsin and see a real marsh...
The cheese bogs of Wisconsin?
@@dspsblyuth funny...more cranberries are produced in WI than anywhere in the world.
I live down the street I work for ocean spray
Do spiders try to climb you while harvesting?
Came here looking for spider references.

Holy jezus
All those berries ....
But the bottles they sell barely contain juice 😄 .

I came here for the wolf spiders
The tires dont squish the cranberries?
They never get under the tires the machine literally dislodges them and then they FLOAT

Its so cringe when a news person or whatever he is acts like they cant just help or its such a burden. Dude knows he needs to pull it to a certain spot...

Dude good juice tho....
Southern New England? I can feel the anger of the locals with that statement...
I’m almost positive that they were filming in Middleborough Massachusetts or carver Massachusetts where ocean spray is located
I could make a meal out of Ocean spray cranberry sauce 🥴
Were are the spiders crawling on them?
bro its a myth these farmers have been telling their new farm hands to freak them out.......its an old mans tale.
Where wolf spiders?

Wisconsin must be pissed New England got the credit. They produce like 60% of all cranberries.
The secret is diluting pure cranberry juice with apple juice so as to appease corperate
worse thing in that is spider. :3
