She lost her leg fighting against humans destroying the Amazon rainforest and decided to form a new one out of stone, because let's be real, a stone leg is both beautiful and terrifying because if that kicks you then you're gonna go squish like the grape

Many earth and mother goddesses are depicted as pregnant so the belly is perfect!! This doll remind me of Danu, mother of the Tuatha Dé Danann and Celtic earth/mother goddess.
Also the transformation of the earring to the corset is amazing?? I wouldn't have even thought of that let alone figured out a way to actually do it

re-root her hair!!! So many doll creators have gotten sloppy and lazy gluing on hair. IMO gluing hair ruins the whole professional quality.

Absolutely gorgeous! I do think blue for earth's water would have been nice to see more of, but the leg, the idea to represent life as pregnancy, and the garment construction are all beautiful (and well executed) choices that more than make up for that.

I don't know that a "sci-fi" look should have been in the goals, at least for Earth in the series. I would have maybe glued some fake moss over places where that spackle showed through in order to cover it up, but maybe that is more of a "fairy" type element moreso than a "goddess" element :P
I think she came out amazing!!! The body mods are extraordinarily done!!! The outfit is beautiful and i love all of the vines and foliage around her!!! Very amazing job, she is magnificent!!!
I didn't know what word to use to describe what I ment, and sci-fi is what l landed on 😆 great that you liked her any way! I did thought about adding some moss to her, but I guess I forgot 😅
Earth is blue planet so I kind of waited more blue, like maybe flowy dress. Fav part is defo the old earring ending up to be corset! 👏

This turned out gorgeous, really love the fertility goddess direction you took with her! Also really impressed by how smoothly you navigated color adjustment, everything looks very seamless. If you don't mind my asking, are there any added obstacles or difficulties to using pastels for that? I know with paint sometimes brushstrokes or chipping can be difficult, but I haven't worked with Mr. Superclear or doll customization so no idea how the mediums interact. I think I've seen people dye plastic before too but it's been a while.
Favorite part of Earth I think is the way you handled color. The sculpting is also incredibly impressive, but even with an unnatural skin tone she looks very alive. Blushing is on point!
Idk if you'd be interested, but you might enjoy listening to Holst's The Planets a little for vibes on various dolls! Does a really fantastic job weaving together a sense of personality, celestial objects, and deities. Might be worthwhile to look at astrological or alchemical symbolism too if you haven't hit them already.
I think of the official planets remaining, one I'd be especially intrigued by is Saturn tbh. Saturn has a lot of melancholy associations IIRC, but also like--art of Saturn devouring his son from Greco-Roman myth. There's room for paranoia for Saturn since in myth that led him to consume his children (having committed patricide against Uranus to overthrow him, subsequently being overthrown by Jupiter/Zeus). There's a kind of dark usurper king vibe there. Also with the rings for the planet, could do stuff with concentric rings in design to give a kind of creepy/disorienting visual experience to evoke some of the instability of mythic Saturn. Basically, think that could be fun as a potentially eerie/trippy celestial figure. Just spitballing though since you asked, if you go with something totally different I've got no doubt it'll be really cool and exciting!

Hmm I think for mars may be red it’s actually a reddish brown color on the surface also here a tip it’s also very dusty sand dunes. With rocks like a reddish brown color

I'm always so in the zone when I repaint the face, that I just don't realise to take brakes to look things up 😆 and I write the script some times weeks later trying to think about what l was thinking when I decided to do things this way.

Liked it until the pregnant part. Can't finish watching, sorry. I'm sure she came out pretty, but that's a no from me. (Also, I am female, so don't try to come at me with misogyny. I simple can't stand to look at a pregnant person or anything resembling such because I find it disgusting.)
Also, the pregnant mother earth crap is way overused.
When you really think about it, something growing inside of you is a very FREAKY thought, so I totally understand you! I want this series to be very inclusive I have plans to make a plus size doll too, and a more gender neutral one! So I hope you will find those more to your liking ✨
My hard-of-hearing ass is having a particularly hard time hearing what you're saying in this video. Audio has a lot of echo and is very low. (And no it's not your accent, your accent is faint and very lovely, actually.) I love the body mods on this doll, though!
Because I'm self taught, I have no idea how to edit/correct the voice track 😵💫 I moved from recording the voice over in our closet to my craft room, hopefully this year I can do some upgrades on it and maybe get some sound panels for the walls 👍
@@josephines.creatures Worst case, you can hang up some blankets to absorb noise. A cheap screen divider is perfect for that, and can be easily stored.
