Hi thanks for watching. Yea it seems quite intimidating at first but as you learn the chromatic scale and the dexterity of the flute, it'll become clearer. Have fun practicing and thanks again!
I was holding my breath while you were playing 🤣. Great job, I don't think I would have finish that piece because I feel like I would faint from being out of breath. Anyway I enjoyed watching you play.
Hi Lauren, thanks for the comment. The technique used there is called Flutter Tounging. You can find out more about exactly how it's done on Goggle. I also tutor if you're interested. All the best and take care.
It took me a while to play it this comfortably.. and yes, there aren't many places to breathe without skipping notes. It's worth it in the end. Thanks for watching.
I've been playing saxophone for about 9 years now and recently got a flute ~~~ I have a question though; when practicing chromatics, I feel like some of the standard fingerings don't feel comfortable when playing so briskly. Are there any specific fingerings you use whilst playing chromatic scales?
Thanks for the question Daphne. It's called Flutter Tounging and is a cool technique used by wind players. It's created using the throat/tounge by vibrating it in a way similar to gargling. If you search here on TH-cam I'm sure you'll find alot more info. on the subject. Thanks for watching!
@@kush.p07 Thank you. The music is available online. Practicing the chromatic scale will help alot... start slow and speed it up when it's clean and comfortable. Good luck and all the best!
Hi Ingrid, thanks for your question. The video was recorded using the selfie/forward camera of the phone, that's why it looks inverted. It's a regular flute.
Why have you reversed the image? The flute is held Hd joint - right side…. Your pic is Hd joint to left hand side. Fine if you play a wooden flute without key-pads but this Boheme system flute looks weird!…..
My kiddos are learning about bees AND the flute this week. Such a perfect piece to share with them!
Great! Yes, this piece beautifully emulates that buzzing sound, reminding us how musical the natural world is all around us. Thanks.
I'm 60 years old and I have just recently taken up learning the flute and I can't comprehend that level of play. Fantastic. Thank you for sharing.

0:23 This part really fascinates me! I wonder how you make that sound, can I know what it is called?

How long did take you to master it and were you out of breath after playing

excuse me, i have a question: at 0:23 how do you do that tonguing technique? It sounds really cool!

Good job, keep practicing and perhaps one day you’ll be able to play this properly
Instead of practicing the chromatic scales I just practice the flight of the bumblebee here and there
Can you maybe do a tutorial
You are holding the flute wrong, or is that a left handed flute?
Hey Kush, this video was recorded using the front camera of the phone so it looks like a reflection. It's a regular flute.
@@JeremyPaulChatoor oh ok
Also, how did you learn this, and you did a very good job

I'm in beginning band my mouth is open
Very impressive I play the flute and the best thing I can do is Mary had a little lamb I'm 10
Thanks K, with consistency, dedication and hard work you'll get there in no time ✌🏾
Wait, is the flute, i don’t know what to say? Twisted? Or for left-handed people
