Okay, so it's one of those songs that sounds happy, but actually has a dark meaning. It seems that Miku likes someone, but she's dying, so she can't meet up with them, so she sings until she dies hoping the person would hear her.
Aria/Shiloh Ludenberg I think she falls into depression, she says that god abandoned the planet. the song she hears is a representation of death, she heard it the night she really fell into it, probably because of maybe a failed suicide attempt. she kept longing to hear it again, and it became louder and clearer to her as she finally died. just speculation though.
Oats That makes sense, too. But we can't really be sure of the songs meaning until the producer says what the song is about.

As someone who found this song on project diva and listens to a lot of sad vocaloid songs, I was able to tell that this was a sad song.
I'll try to sum this up!

So basically there's Miku, singing to someone she loves dearly. She sings to them all the time and tries to hope they come and fall in love with her as much as she loves them. But sadly, the person she has fallen in love cannot hear at all as they are deaf. She still loves them, and she writes hundreds of songs for them but she cannot feel her love anymore and she stops singing and falls into a deep depression. The skeleton orchestra could possibly mean her death or her crush's death, and they still sing with each other after death. It's not that difficult to me, it was just overwhelming at first. But now that I've listened to this song like 100 times, I gotten the hang of it on normal mode
although this gives me a hollow feeling inside, I've officially named this song "Satan's Torture Song". Reason being, Project Mirai DX.

Everyone saying that this is about Miku sending this song to someone she loves specifically but... The last line "the nameless you" makes me think that maybe she's just sending this song to someone but she doesn't know who? Like from my interpretation (and mine might not be correct so don't think I'm trying to knock yours down) she seemed to have killed herself in the train tracks she mentions and just before dying she sends this song to someone that might've loved her but she didn't meet them or know them so they don't have a name, even the "Romeo? Romeo?" part makes me think that. She wasn't calling for someone specific, she was just calling for her Romeo that she's not even sure who are they. Or maybe I'm just stupid (which is probably correct).
Late reply but this is exactly what I get from it. She doesn't know who her Romeo is and she's singing hoping he would appear but he doesn't and she doesn't even know if her idea is real. I think this song is really about love being lost in loneliness

skeleton orchestra is in the name of the song and the piano sounds like its keys are being slammed, like someone with no sense of feeling is playing it, LIKE A SKELETON
Was... she hit by a train in the end? So I guess she fell in love with some one who would play music by themselves, and she would sing hoping they would hear it...? I'm just taking shots in the dark, and I'm only really paying attention to little lines.
But screw it. This song is awesome, and that's all that really matters.

yeah, i was able to do button mode matryoshka on hard after a few tries. the coordination you need for both hands on this hard button mode is ridiculous lmao
Somehow I managed to get an A on the tap mode. It was at tree AM and I haven't gotten close since. And miracously, the superhard modes are just nonstop tapping so all I have to do is switch colors every time the pitch changes. (Managed to get a higher combo on the super hard- and a higher grade- on Matryoshka than the original hard mode.)
