I have always felt and feel that animals are our guides, teachers, family. The Druid Animal oracle speaks to me and I am thankful for this deck. In physical form and Spiritual form the guides comes as we are ready to experience their data. They are healers. I believe that humans are called to be stewards of the earth.
On shaman's being vegetarian: I read a book "Black Elk Speaks" where he mentions that after his great vision he ate very little meat to be in stronger connection with spirit.
To be initiated into proper Druidry would require at least 20 years of bardship. Of course, all spirituality has a common core. It’s only when spiritual teaching gets abused and muddied for personal gain that that becomes unclear.
Sure there is, Abrahamic religions are male-dominant, patriarchial, and thus demean and want to control women, children and nature. All of them. They are useless religions for people who are lost and do not know who they are. I pray for all of them to come out of it and into the light of the mother.

Not "Judeo/Christian, not "Abrahamic." Say what you mean, you are talking about 'Christian.' No need to lump anything else in with that.
