Smolders designer being among them, he even showed the kids in his family smolder saying he made him 2 weeks ago
I like that he communicates with his mom during the game. It's implied that while he's fighting with a crowd of crazy people and killing other dragons, his mother is sitting somewhere nearby, too busy to keep an eye on him, and only occasionally is like, "Time for dinner!!"
nah, it's more the helicopter mom making sure from above that her poor baby doesn't get a scratch, and that is absolutely ready to burn down this whole rift if someone looks a bit funny. :D

@@PulverisatorDeBxl smolder and his mom are camavoran dragons (they came from the same place has viego) but viego in some way corrupted a camavoran dragon with the black mist, for that smolder's mom got a grudge against viego

way back before his rework, mord could kill dragon and control its ghost with his ult, so you could control dragon and bring it to clear lane@@dominicguye8058

Well that doesnt help. Try using another ability to combat them and defend yourself or ensure you escape and come out unharmed.
So:
Smolder ages a lot slower than humans. Marinos was a kid and now is a old man, while Smolder is still a kid.
Smolder is an "imperial dragon".
Smolder's mother could be only a voice\spirit.
He has no interaction with champions, probably he never left Camavor.
She breathes fire, it's his ult so definitely not just a voice/spirit.
He seems to know the Dragons (Sol and Shyvana), either it being through his mom telling him, him and his mom roaming around Runeterra or even him by himself looking for adventures to "prove himself"!

Ah, my mistake. Went back to check and it's actually mentioned in Nilah's color story.
Viper was the mother of all Camavoran dragons. And Nilah killed her, so she just offed Smolder's grandma.

Smoulders designer is the closest thing to a mother. obviously his mother isn't sctually real, but the closest thing got fired, so yea, dead voiceline.

Rakan and Xayah have ping voicelines, but they only play for the other character. Rakan's to the Xayah player, and vice versa.
