I like homemade things too but some folks just do not have time to make things from scratch everytime. So, make the recipes you want to make as it's your kitchen not theirs. I used to make this for my teachers in high school..1986-88, but I used a premade Graham cracker crust and topped with canned strawberries or blueberries.. love this version! And love your recipes!
U think i could use the Graham crackers ..I only have a can of apple pie filling..I mean I'm sure I could but would it make the crackers mushy? I'm asking since u said used canned pie filling

Looks good! I think I'd macerate some of the strawberries to mix in the cream cheese mixture, and also put sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture just to intensify the strawberry flavor.
