Am I allowed to like this dragon? - The Golden Dragon Review - School of Dragons

- There was a lot of controversy about bringing a dragon from Rescue Riders into the School of Dragons. It is the final prize in the Snoggletog 2021 event. I was also skeptical and taught I would hate it or at least be neutral about it.
It actually doesn’t look too bad, it just has such a different style compared to other dragons in the game. The animation is AMAZING omg I hope they put as much effort in other dragons as the golden dragon because they did so well in making us like it
their new dragons-animations are so gorgeous, I can’t wait for an update of toothless design

It does seem weird to have a rescue riders dragon in the game. Though, I actually didn't mind rescue riders. also the only reason we can hear what the dragons are saying is because the two human main characters were raised by dragons, no one else in the show can hear them.
I would've been okay with something like adding a new titan, the sandbuster, a redesign for the grapple grounder, or even a chicken. I was dreading the sod team adding a dragon from rescue riders, like they don't have the same art style so the golden dragon looks so weird and alien to the httyd world.
What sod needs to actually do ia add the dragons they haven't added, and probably some more from the books
This is why I feel sorry for people who jump to conclusions, because then a lot of them react exactly like this and they have to swallow their own negativity. Just give everything a chance, even if it means watching someone else review the dragon first. It doesn't cost you anything to watch a review before you start talkin' shit. lol
The dragon can shoot different type of fireball in the hideout which is pretty nice.check it out...
I actually like the golden dragon and (unpopular opinion I know) I hope they add more rescue riders dragons. I didn't like the show at first, but it really grew on me, and now I like the series and I wish I could continue watching them, but season 3 and later seasons aren't available in my country.
Honestly the dragon looks decent enough I might own one in game but rescue riders dragons don’t really fit In SoD. It looks weird. Maybe there might be a good rescue riders dragons but who knows
Its basically the new flightmare dragon for rescue riders which is horrible since rescue riders ruined everything about the franchise and its meaning I found httyd when I was in middle school and it helped me through some tough times in my life.
Heck I'm 1 year late. But I was super impressed when the dragon was released. The look of the dragon looks wrong but nice at the same time. And the animations were GORGEOUS.
I actually really liked this dragon but I hope that if they are going to add more dragons from rescue dragons I hope they update the models to fit better or they just don't add it.

Late but same! Especially the Songwing.. that dragon would look absolutely gorgeous ingame same to Zoomerangs, Fire Furys and Swiftwings! They would be REALLY useful for TRR and Battle Events ( especially Zoomerangs ).
Ima just say sod should have added a hybrid to the event and not something from rr but I do hope they DON'T DO THIS AGAIN

Personally, I’d like them to update the older dragons like they updates toothless instead of releasing new dragons which technically don’t even belong in the game. It’d be nice since the old dragons (especially the OG four) don’t really fit into the whole picture with the newest, beautifully animated ones. It’d be a nice touch and a HUGE improvement in my eyes

I opend 100 Snoggletog mystery chests and exchanged most of the items. I still had to buy I think around 4000 more cookies with real money.

@@zauii when you go to the store next to the gems and coins there is a section called 'special items' where you can buy cookies with real money.
Are there bugs in the event again ?even if I don't like the dragon I still want it because I collect all the dragons

After all it is the school of all dreamworks dragons therefore rescue riders dragons are allowed in the game. That’s why it is called school of dragons and not school of httyd dragons only. Dragons that are game exclusive are also on the game. So don’t come here moaning because it is a dreamworks dragon after all.

I think the animations are just copied from the night lights. Thats why they are so good. Gosh I hate when they recycle
I didn't notice that but I think you are right. At least the night lights have great animations so I don't mind if they recycle them.
LATE AGAIN!! But to quickly say this has been later on debunked. Slowing down the animations between this dragon and the Night Lights it’s been shown that the golden dragon has more wing curves and the wings go down lower than the nightlights. Not only this but the animations for the Golden Dragon resets quicker as well by 0.6 seconds.

I'm sorry but I don't want this in the game😃✋ Keep "rEscUe ridErs" away from sod, Like the whole rEscUe ridErs movie and shit look so alien ish compared to httyd. plus they the dragons look like a knock off version. Which it is but that's not the point. the point Is if they want to do this. Make a whole separate game for rEscUe ridErs and keep it away💀🛩 I mean they tried hard in the animations and fire ball and stuff but if they are doing that, then just upgrade the dragons we have now or add more quests, instead of keep adding weird dragons-
