So refreshening to provide clarity for “submission” to one another. Biblical teaching on the matter of marriage is lacking in society. The divorce rate hasn’t decreased in the least
Great teaching pastor jack.I was saved a year and a half before my husband it was a battle. But my pastor at that time said just keep believing keep praying and reading your Bible I did and a year-and-a-half later my husband became a Christian also we have a wonderful marriage going on 43 years thank you Lord Jesus

Been 8 yrs and he still hasn't but i know it will happen, i submit and show him christian love but I feel alone, it's all about makung him happy and being strong, and i have no Christian friends, so I have a t times feel so alone, but I know my God is with me.
We went to David Wilkerson at our University and my husband got saved in 1975~ It's been rough though. Get a Bible and study God's Word. PRAISE GOD and it is worth it!
The best couple I have seen with love, respect and understanding each other were my grandparents. They were untouchable with their faith in God.
I stood up for God and my wife and I are separated now. She believes in Christ and what Jesus did for us but says God put her with another man with whom she is now living. It's been hard to let her go because I love her. Thank you for this message pastor please pray God would move in our lives and in our marriage in the name if Yeshua ben YHWH amen

I'm so sorry. I read your love for her in your comment. She has been mightily deceived by the enemy and is only fooling herself. She will not be blessed in this "new relationship". Continue to pray for her, but please try not to expect her hard heart to change _unless God does a _*_mighty_*_ work._ With Him all things are possible.

Women young and old please listen. When you turn your life over to Christ and become Christ like, loving, forgiving, patient, kind, giving and reading your bible and praying. Your life will change and then you will see your husband will take notice. It is amazing.

What happens when God gets a hold of your marriage and you find yourself utterly alone, with a special needs child, after 14 years and spending your entire inheritance to make this man a doctor and he is living the high life, married to an illegal 20 years his junior, 5 years older than his son, and she drives a BMW and vacations in Hawaii & Puerto Rico, she gets to finish her college education while I walk and count pennies. I'll tell you -- it was the best thing that ever happened to me. God is a visionary and regardless how it looks in the beginning, He always finds a way to turn it into magic. P.S. It's been 7 years and I haven't dated since. Poor but happy.

I wrote him recently (actually the day I learned of the red heifer's birth) to inspire him to get saved before it was too late. I did it for Christ because I know He loves him and for my son because he loves him and finally because I wouldn't wish the 70-weeks of Daniel on anyone except those who worships he (who I refuse to call by name). I remember , in the sixties, free love etc... I was fortunate enough to be to young for college and living in Vista far away but it still had some impact on me I Thank God I wasn’t in or near H.A. San Fransico.
I live with a false believer, arrested several times. I would never marry anyone again unless I see the fruits of his walk with God.
Pastor Jack, I so appreciate your sermons. I listen to them often, sometimes while working around the house. At these times I do not have my Bible with me, so when you read the passages out loud I am able to hear them, however when the parishioners read I am unable to follow because I cannot hear. I’d like to ask/suggest that you come up with a way in which listeners are able to hear the verse, perhaps even reading along with them. Thank you so much. Looking forward to seeing you in Toronto. Dorothy Marjerrison I do the same thing. I clean or do some other chore and listen to sermons. What I do before I listen is find the passage and bust out my bible and read the scripture. That way I know what passages he is referencing. I like that both the pastor and congregation read and I couldn’t hear the congregation either so I had to do something about it and it really helped.

I was a teen in that time, in the bay area, in a divorced family, from Idaho.
I have to say that this is the hardest sermon to listen to, because it does not always turn out like you say, don't want to go into deep detail, but having been married twice, first time to the father of my children , he left me for another after ten years of marriage, then some years later married a ''sick minded'' man was all but easy, after three therapists, and 22 years( and he not wanting to work with any of them, )the end came.
Jesus always esteemed Women Highly. Jesus always treated Women with respect, and dignity, and compassion!

Great message by Pastor Jack. I do disagree with him on the serpent in the Garden being a literal serpent. The Hebrew word is "nachash" which, if you drill down and study other passages, seems to indicate that this was a spiritual being that Adam and Eve were used to interacting with. Dr. Michael Heiser has a great teaching on this. It will transform your understanding of the Fall and many other passages of Scripture.
This was an excellent teaching. I should watch it over and over. -Unequally yoked.

What about if you and your now wife met as unbelievers but you as the husband are now saved and have given you life to the lord but she refuses to do the same and or to participate in church with you. What is best to do.

Great book of encouragement and a testimony of God’s grace and providence in a broken life.
But Jack what if you both are believers and you still have issues in your marriage? My husband tells me in almost everything that I do that if he doesn't like something he tells me that I am to submit in all things. He told me lately that if I couldn't tell my friends about something that happened to me at my job and that if I told them that he would lose his trust in me and have little to no faith in me.
