I agree. There are also many other health issues that lead to overeating, which aren't necessarily recognized by many healthcare practitioners. Lots of autistic people and people with ADHD will significantly over or under eat for example.

Yup that is so true about fiber. When i was put on a low carb diet, i was miserable feeling hungry all the time. 5 yrs ago i was put on 80-10-10 diet, i’m no longer feeling hungry. Stick to plants. Even if you want to eat more, it's all good. I switched my entire diet years ago but still ate the cookies and such. Now, I have substituted apples with a little cinnamon for cookies. And instead of crackers in the hummus I use celery or another veg. That was the game changer for me.

Fully agree; if you already know him it's fine, but honestly for introducing new people to him, I feel like not seeing him but instead an animated version, kind of lowers his credibility. If someone (who isnt already aware of the benefits of plant based) comes in here, they'll already have the mindset of "let me find whats wrong about this presentation", and this would just take off some points (even if unfairly)

I discovered an amazing food aversion technique that specially targets unhealthy foods! Eat an entire clove of raw shallot. Then try to eat any sort of processed food that contains preservatives, sugar, salt. It tastes utterly putrid. The same goes for holding echinacea on your tongue, then tasting milk. It's a horror in taste I can't even describe. Not recommended, but definitely effective.

I turned whole food vegan 5 months ago for weight loss. Most days I have to make sure I eat enough not that I overeat. I was a ''healthy'' non vegan before and still managed to eat myself to a BMI of 27. Currently aiming for BMI of 20 while stuffing myself to the brim with fruits/veggies/legumes/grains/seeds/nuts. Weight loss on a whole food vegan diet is ridiculously easy. I stopped counting calories/ portion control and am still loosing weight. I blame the fiber.

It is interesting though because I know a woman who developed a strong aversion to Reeses Peanut Butter cups after her husband ate some when she was nauseous in labor and it went from her favorite candy to one she would never eat again. That fascinated me because she developed aversion to a food someone else ate.

It seems like you're not eating to be satiated. It is possible that you are eating to escape contacting your feelings - it's a popular reason. If you are trying to avoid feeling then feeling full could urge you to eat more because while eating for the brief moment you are avoiding focusing on what's inside you, but simultaneously the fuller you are the more you feel how much you ate (and everything associated with that). And hence a loop of feeling your feelings, avoiding them with eating and feeling more bodily sensations in the process. If so, if it's not about satiety, but about emotional avoidance, then a big-sized fibrous meal filling you up to the brim without adequate emotional work might increase your urges, not reduce them.

@@bartoszkleszcz5420 It could also be as simple as boredom. I know when I'm fully focused on a project, I'll forget to eat. I’m surprised about all the cartoon Gregor comments… no one noticed the previous Gregor was not real either? 🤨

Carnival ride therapy? Serve all the junk food they can eat and give them a spin.

That's all good, but note that after following a strict ketogenic diet for over a month would suppress your appetite more than anything else (more than even eating a lot of fiber) even if your fiber intake is minimal.

It’s true. Just a few days fully keto and your forget to eat. Its a way of eating I would not do anymore because my lipids went sky high and I had gout but the appetite control is insane.

There’s no coordination between the narrator and the highlighted snippets. We deserve better a quality video.

idk why just about any1 is so poorly in tune with their body
fiber doesnt satiate - it just fills u up (yes there is a difference)
if u eat nutrient dense stuff...aka things high in micronutrients...(which can, but doesnt have to be plant foods) ull feel satiated...if u just eat bananas romain lettuce and dates satiety never kicks in and ull either become skinny fat (high likelyhood) or get so insatiably hungry that u just turn into a fat blob with 0 muscle thats just sweating all the time

@Bill T no it will not, after a few years of that ur bmi (in the vast majority of cases) will below whats healthy and most often ull get seemingly diet unrelated deficiency symptoms (such as low muscle mass, tiredness, bloating after every meal, pale skin color etc)
there in fact is nutrient rich plant foods if they r sourced/grown right but generally speaking fruits and vegetables happen to be on the lower end (especially since they r often not picked ripe) - nuts and seeds (as in grains/legumes) tend to be middle-ish high on the nutrients which is why they satiate better than fruits/vegetables but they dont reach the nutrient excellency of (wild) collected greens/algaes or meat (ull have to have some of these i mentioned last in ur diet or most likely ull go ex vegan because of degeneration sooner or later - usually 2-5 years...and yea listening meat is a bit ironic in that context i know lol...but i talk from experience 🤪)

Hi there, protein maniac! Your good microbiome eats fiber and too much protein turns into sugar in your body (it’s easy to go overboard with it). Plant foods however all have adequate amount of it in them, together with all the vitamins and minerals. Carbs aren’t an issue if they aren’t mixed with fat

@Bill T i eat 98% vegan - the only animal thing i eat right now is the capsules i put my wild green powders in 🤨u need to get ur things straight - no fetishes here, no emotions either, just research observation and lots and lots of testing (because hardly any1 trusts their own body these days, only losers who try to align "experts" opinions with their whimpy moral values

@Bill T but i started with the science to begin with - and it totally didnt work
starch is indigestable (by itself) and makes u phlegmatic and gives ppl weird skin issues (i get dry patches if i ate much of it) - others get acne etc
u cant proof believers wrong, they base their knowledge of outside sources that r selffulfillingly (")true(") - science is just as much of a religion as christianity - but it takes like 120 iq to even be able to fathom that
im high in enneagram 5 - im loaded with all the science in the world and yet my personal findings (at least at times) r not what science would suggest
i know of all the crappy SIBO/leaky gut missinfo - its all just (mostly) nutrient density (or lack there of rather) that causes these issues...with a pinch fo lifestyle factors like not eating too close to bedtime etc 🙄(tho admittedly it takes years of testing to know this with 100% certainty)

    • @sooooooooDark

@Riki P. what u r saying is true, i know it first hand
but its not necessarily a vegan problem (tho vegan diets r tend to be much worse than standard american diets cuz plants r grown on shit soil and animals at least "somewhat" bio-accumulate nutrients)
in fact the stuff u wrote there i myself wrote 1:1 like that w/o the vegan dissing 😂 meat and (quality) greens (aka not the "organic" romaine lettuce from store 🙄) are the only truely satiety inducing things...else the body will be like "🤨did u just feed me air" 😂....tho ull have to eat lots (>400g) of (quality) greens to get the same effect from an equal amount of (say) steak
