Not to mention in the entire tournament 3 G/A, 85.8% passing accuracy, 9 tackles won, 14 balls recovered and finally 4/5 clearances completed. Yeah no he was really awful hey. All this after he'd won Champions League and Laliga so even when he's exhausted he still put out performances like this but somehow it's far fetched for them to think he was a worthy shout?

If he's winning balls and then having nobody to pass to, do you not think that's gonna result in the opposition getting the ball of him? And he would still go back and win it back again. But somehow he's to blame? Interesting. Where was Phil Foden whenever Jude was winning back balls? Where was Harry Kane? And yet instead of putting the blame where it belongs you blame one of the players that was actually making sure to quell the threats as they were coming and as if that wasn't exhausting enough still dug deep enough to actually pull off that bicycle kick and basically drag England into the next round but you didn't see all that did you?

Obviously, as a Chelsea fan, I think it's totally deserved, but looking at it objectively, I'd say this vote was made out of spite by the England fans. Spite toward the starters who didn't really turn up and mostly spite toward Southgate for not starting him. Either that, or it's because of Palmer's current hype.

The clubs they play at have no weight on who was better like I’ve said palmer was one of the best but Kane was better. Also palmer wasn’t playing in midfield for Chelsea he was their main man in the attack 😂
