@@TheDankestDungeon yeah it was. the moment i saw that everyone was over 5 poison i was so sure that radstorm would be casted that game. leave it to corbyn to find another way to storm off.
Would love to get some insight from the crew/Corbyn on how you'd replay that deck now that the cat's out of the bag as far as the win con shown. I love the deck, how the commander says one thing and the deck did something else. if you were to play again, would you usually get more attention/aggro in the pod? How often would you be able to do that again
What a great question! Once the cat is out of the bag is when the real work begins lol. Generally, once people know what to expect, that's where I'd have to tune the deck a lot more. What cards don't actually perform the way I want? What cards can help me fight off my opponents? I did have more Rad counter synergies in the deck, but I never drew them. So I'd probably pursue that avenue as a grindy back up plan. I'll stop there so this doesn't turn into a manifesto, but again, great question and thank for asking!
@@stormincorbyn Thanks for the reply Corbyn! This makes sense and I appreciate the context about rad counters and how that can be a Plan B in future games. I've never built what I'd call a "storm" or "all in one turn" deck, but I can appreciate your take on it and how the storm can be A win con, but it doesn't need to be THE deck, I can slot a backup plan or 2 without diluting the deck's focus too much.
@@hainzyyYep! Having back up plans help with resiliency. Just be careful to have back up game plans that aren't too extreme from a requirement perspective. For example, I probably wouldn't put Tendrils of Agony in this deck because no other pieces really focus on damage. This helps the deck pivot more fluidly.
Great game! IMO: This was my point from the podcast you gentlemen did. There was no way to stop his win without playing counter magic. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, this is why I don't like playing against storm because it's a lose lose in my opinion. Since I don't play a lot of blue, I have to kill the storm person first even though most of the game they do nothing.
There's also a ton of cards in the game that limit spell casts. That also stops storm and other combos pretty handily without having to play blue. Rule of law is a good example, or damping sphere
@@stormincorbyn yes I agree, you can play taxes or stacks but that too isn't really loved by most of the community. I'm not saying you shouldn't play storm I'm simply referencing the podcast and further explaining my comment there! Good win!
You guys play with the most boring things on the planet. This video was allegedly a fallout commander game but two of the decks didn’t even play with a commander. You guys are just blue balls CEDH and it’s terrible
@damianambrose7750 bro stfu cause you didn’t have to watch it either. You spent time writing a comment to blast them for playing a game with THEIR variations of THEIR commanders. People watch people play mtg in different aspects. You don’t have to play a game the “cookie cutter” way and play Rad counters and shit. They played THEIR way. Take that negative shit somewhere else.
Corbyn was scheming and plotting.
Absolute bomb of a victory
Great to see him storming of as usual)
BUDDY I FLIPPED WHEN I HEARD AUSTERE COMMAND AND NOT ALL ARTIFACTS😂😂😂🙃
LMFAO. Oh Corbyn. Wow. Gotta love it. Great video!
Corbyn’s throne looks comfy in the eye of the storm 👌🏽👌🏽
Absolutely loved the use of the fallout legendaries here, great game guys. Awesome to see everyone do their thing to a degree.
Omg, was thinking the whole time, Wow, Corbin's not playing a storm deck!" Then out of nowhere! Amazing game!
I liked that Preston Garvey deck. I plan on getting the Caesar deck but i want to build a Minuteman deck.
The actual ironic storm win that's great. Great game
Corbyn’s commander milled 2 cards and did nothing else 😂
All we needed lmao
Damn a slow poisoning plan and then the last day of the plan he threw a litre in your food
Turns out, was a good plan!

That rad storm was sick!

Killing Corbyn was probably the correct option here, just our first time playing against the deck so we weren't prepared ;)

Lol, got 'em!
Yes corbyn, that is why i clicked on the video
that heliod's intervention should have targeted all the artefacts instead
He was dead on board to combat damage, so was really a tough choice to make!
The Liberty Prime mention makes me miss Mylque :(
