Awesome James! Enjoy your new toy. I tried a similar setup on an M2 about a year ago. I got frustrated with the lack of virtualization on parallels but solved it simply by using Rider on Mac as my ide.

I’m really liking VS Code for the majority of things I work on and loving Copilot. I am still spending a lot of time in Windows and VS 2022 where I am most comfortable.

Why do you use such an outdated terminal like iTerm? Did you try Warp?

I’ll give it a try! I am spoiled with Windows Terminal. Thanks for the recommendation

Been down a similar route, even went so far as to start using an Apple keyboard and mouse 😂 Had to backtrack on that after a week 😅

I'm currently using the apple keyboard, which is nice. I like that it has the touch id built in like my laptop. For mouse, it is all about MX Master series :) I am still on 2, but love it.

Seeing Edge on a Mac. 😂 A lot of Microsoft copium going on here even considering Edge over all the alternatives.
And also no Rider which is by far the best IDE for .NET stuff.

I am all Edge on all devices, my favorite browser by far.
Rider is great, but VS Code + Windows VM on demand is all I need.

I tried Rider, because i use Jetbrains IDE's for all my work. But with dotnet it doesn't even seem to offer hot reload. You need to manually click on a link to hot reload, which isn't hot reload at all. Not sure why so many recommend Rider under these circumstances.
