    The small “fire extinguisher holder” is actually for a mini grease gun, I thought that was kind of cool when I noticed that on the one we bought for our business.

    This was a great walkthrough, very informative, thanks. I only wish it was in 720p or 1080p.

      Thanks. I’m new to making videos. I’ve changed them to 720p. Check out my other videos and let me know what you think. And if you want to see any other reviews let me know. I’ll see what I can do.

    I got the 35 only because it was easier to haul but demoed the 50. Both exceptional machines. Plenty of power and well made. There's no one machine thats best for ever job so it's best to demo and decide what you can live with. We've run many other machines for years and I've got to say I love the Yanmar for
    Price
    Easy maintenance
    Power
    Reliability.

      I agree. I’ve ran Deere excavators for awhile. I have ran most everything else and always thought they were the best for the money. Then I ran the Yanmar. That changed things. It’s an awesome machine. I am sure you will like the 35. I ran one for a few weeks. Very good comparison to the Deere.

      After using my OSMA TFK90. I would buy it. It will mow grass and do sizable material. Best of both worlds. I can sell them,

    Thanks for all the info. Down the road I may be looking at one of these. Currently I have a Bobcat E42. Do you have any info for a comparison between the 2? Thanks. +

      I ran a e42 before I bought the Yanmar. It was ok. I didn’t see any value at all compared to even the 35 Yanmar to make the jump in price.

    Do u know if the vio 50 has a continuous flow function for the hydraulic system, also is there a speed control for the thumb. The cat 304 that I demod had that built in the computer display system. My sales man wasn't sure.

    Hey man. I've been looking at the 50 and 55 pretty hard for a while now. I'm gonna be using it to mow retention ponds and other odd jobs. Only thing that stumps me is there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the 2 other than weight. On the 55, they turboed the same engine adding about 5-7 hp and gave it a whole extra 1 gallon per min. flow with the same system pressure. Do you think or know if there's that much difference in performance say running a brush cutter? An extra $10k and more weight. I'd rather do without both. Especially the weight.

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I ran both. I liked the 55 also. I just didn’t need the extra weight. My 50 is a pretty good size for me. I do allot of work in yards also and like the size of the 50. I haven’t mowed with the 50 yet but working on a mower for it. If you want to subscribe to make sure you see the video that would be awesome.
      Thanks for watching.

    I have owned a 35g an a 50 g. My biggest complaint is the boom an stick speed. Would you say the yanmar is quicker?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’d say just a bit quicker. I think all of them are slow when you are deep or all the way out. But I think it’s quicker half way out. I think it has better power. I have some footage of tearing out a driveway the other day I need to get edited to put it up. It will show the power. Subscribe or follow. Or check back in about a week and I’m hoping to have the video up.

    Just bought a slightly used 50 like this, it beeps when you push lever or ft pedal to move the machine. Is that normal? The beep is not load just faint. Is this normal? Could not find anything in the manual about it.

    • @Dc-nc3ws
      @Dc-nc3ws 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s normal it’s a travel alarm.

    Ok I have to ask Deere/Hitachi machine whats that all about.

    • @skidco
      @skidco  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hitachi makes all the John Deere excavators. They are the same machine. Just different colors. Some models may have different engines. Other than that they are identical besides color.

    • @fordman2698

      20’ trailer. It’s a 14k that’s rated to 16k but it handles it well

    Do you know how this compares to Komatsu?

    • @skidco
      @skidco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I ran the komatsu and I personally still liked the Yanmar power better. Also the size of the 50 Yanmar makes is a hard size to find in companies. It’s like bobcats e45. 10,500-11,000 pound machine.
