The Titan Equipment discussion extends… you make some very robust points. Not least how TE has in effect relegated a significant number of other game-based assets: base skins, equipment, skills, heroes, etc. You can’t put the Genie back in the bottle. TE now exists, and the balance of the game has been tilted. That’s a polite explanation - so how do you regain balance? Make catalysts more readily available, also runes. Increase the attributes on future-state heroes, along with their L5 exclusive skills. Enable recycling and repurposing exclusive skills on older SSR heroes. To enable players to redeploy locked-in investments that to date are redundant. Thus enabling players to re-engage and get excited (as much as one can) about new game-based possibilities. Keep up the great work Timmy. Looking forward to seeing what heroes the new event brings… also your fabulous videos.
You are doing a great job in getting some players ideas to continue in Top Hour, but there are some players who were wronged in the beginning of the games. For example, Amelia's heroes became difficult to obtain, and the two thousand VIPs 9 were obtained, but unfortunately, greed made them corrupt managers.
First things first...TG didn't just break the game, it severely broke the game. I personally have never come across a single player that thinks it is good. They tried fixing it & made it worse, needing 32 Runes per SE & 1 hero can use 6 gears, so 192 Runes for 1 hero, 576 Runes for 3 heros in a march & 1728 Runes for 3 Marches. & to get Runes you need many Gold Catalysts to get them to drop AT RANDOM, so overall approximately 1.2 Million $$. That is clearly insane to expect players of a video game to spend that much. So MUST BE CHANGED. Simple to fix!! Just like T-Me said add many more Catalysts to be dropped daily AND for example Baking Master...Things to get there are very old. Add just 1 RUNE, JUST ONE!! With a reasonable amount of points to get it, lets say 500. & Do things like that in other events so at least players can get a few Runes for free per Year. Wont kill them. Next, Make Higher Level VIP than 16. So daily get 1 Gold Catalyst. Next Hot Deals, or events like that, add that you get for free some Gold Catalysts when you spend a certain amount rather than the useless old garbage they give us now, many things that can be done...
You are correct on this, many have quit the game because of the gear due to it not being represented properly so a 50cp player can destroy a 80cp player now so buying all the other things in the game is useless for the most part, the game is way out of balance now more so than ever

I haven’t minded this to much as I’ve played a more expansive version of this before where I was spending crazy and this is why I’m not as whiling to now…. So the business model you explained is 100% correct. I’d spend more if things where a bit better and less rng.
And wow I love the idea of how that other game has it I’d even be 100% ok if we needed 1 set per troop type…
Yes. Guns of glory has implemented the account wide gear ( 1 set for your account) and here is how they are monetizing it:
- up to 2-3 new tier sets per year
- this are just pure stats …no RNG like in TW:
- with every set implementation: instant items drop from WH/ DL . Not high but there from the first moment.
Fact is , Rivergame does NOT have the employees to see the bigger picture : what’s the business model

Every battle we have there’s always some players from younger servers who have low CP and don’t look threatening when scooted but trash much higher CP guys who are immediately thinking of quitting the game.
Also of course it makes the other paid element so useless.
I agree more people have reduced their spending, so it must not be great for rivergame
The titan gear was brought out to stop the selling of old powerful accounts, but in fact it stopped old players to play the game also. The gear was implemented very unfairly with some newer servers having the gear almost a year longer than the champ season servers, drop rates are also very suspicious when it comes to a newer server

That’s they way they should have done it
Older players have diligently logged in everyday, finish quest, buy base skin, buy decors, buy base effects, upgrade equipment and components for 2 - 3 years. If rivergame's direction is to abandon this group of people in favor of new accounts, older players should be smart enough and be united and stop spending. They are literally allowing new accounts to overtake your 2-3 years of effort for practically nothing. Older players who continue to spend must be quite dumb to allow rivergame to fool you in this manner.

Great video! I agree with you. But i am not convinced that they will do anything. Even doubt they read our comments here. That new servers are favoured, other standaards is just a slap in the face for older players who put time and money (average 2 - 3hundred euro a month) in their account, me 2 years. Not spending any money anymore on this game till they come with a satisfying solution for titan gear.
So maybe also time to quit.
They read. But they “insist” to learn it the hard way.

RG's strategy is very simple in running its business. They were targeting new players who came from the new server. After several months, RG ignored them.
Yes make the lower catalyst available with the dailies. Also lower the pack costs across the board. No im not paying $5 for 2 gold shards. No im not paying $9for shark holograms. $5 for 10 shard $9 for 20-3 holograms maybe but yea the prices are way too high for what you get.
In my opinion, the gears problem should be solved as soon as possible

A beutiful video.....but now new account with 30-35nil cp beat 45-50 mil cp only with new gear efect...I think the efect not was like a stone în water...but like a tornado for old account with Invest many and many money în skins heros skill and decoration
They will weak up when more players realize this ..and when Rivergame sees : low sales on : skins, heroes , base effects , etc etc
I like the community and the t-me videos but it's absolutely ridiculous that there's no natural development, buy the game and hit as much as you want without any effort
I think topwar assumed that the people who paid before will continue to pay for whatever stuff they put out, no matter how bad it is. Certainly I have noticed many gaming companies that are way better in customer satisfaction. If I have to score topwar out of 5 stars in customer satisfaction, I will give it a 1 star only. Its hard for players who have a budget. I think instead of talking about the whales or the F2P players, we must talk about people who come to enjoy the game (players with a budget). I think the numbers of such players are far more than either the whales or F2P players. Just a suggestion Timmy, maybe you should add a third group.

to align anything you need to keep players in the game and at this moment loads of players leave the game becuase if they need to spend a lot of money to compete they simply change the game in their phones...
It's bad enough with the Asian servers getting much cheaper prices and now the newer accounts are growing at a crazy rate and soon will easily bypass the older accounts with a large margin, so instead of rewarding older loyal players to the game we are being punished practically all because which it all comes down to is top war all about the money grabbing, nothing to do with catching up on CP because no matter what the co is the match ups are a joke anyway, as always T-me great video, thank you
They have “earned” this . We significantly dropped the financial support…and this new players with the shiny gear won’t buy RG’s skins , base effects, skills , decorations.
No worries, River Game will broke TW. I expect 4hm that costs 4b class items and 3m power cubes or 2HT in march and the regular units will be obsolete
They will understand:
Good changes = good revenue
Bad implementation = severe revenue drop

I used 160 blue and 25 purple and 10 gold catalyst and never got 1 ruin from all of them. Feel like I'm throwing money into a fire pit

I’d suggest crafting between -4 and reset when Chinese servers are most active. They buy and craft like crazy increasing odds of you having more luck. Imo

Great video, Timmy. They said several months ago in Discord that they will release an item which can switch gear effect in the Titan gear revision2.0, and I think this will indirectly set down the price, do you have any updates on the plan?
You can bounce around the effect now , must be the same piece of gear . No ETA on that . And that was said by the old team which got demolished and assigned to the other 2 games. Now we have “new” devs .
