I'm in middle of working on board taking 20ma dead response. I found short cap but voltage inject on top side shows no heated component with flur. I will check bottom side soon, But also...When u find short, maybe it's possible is just really low resistance feeding CPU, right. I've seen as low as 3ohm on some working cpu in laptop. Puting 2v to check for heated component could damage cpu working on lower voltage maybe,yes no ??
How much to fix a s10? and how do you know what type cap that is when it's blown/ Short? I think i cud do this my self aslo If i knew the value of the cap that i find to be gone. How do i know that?
Replace costs at least 150 and this is almost free (if you have the knowledge). Also, if there is data on the phone that needs to be recovered this is how it's done.
