My husband was in the Army for 24 years. Our English Bulldog got to the point that every time he pulled out his bags and suitcases, she would whine, cry and pout. She wouldn't even look at him for the final hours before he'd leave because she'd be so mad at him for leaving her. The first week after he'd leave, she'd sit by the front door waiting for him to come home. It was heartbreaking! She'd sleep at the foot of the bed, lifting her head at the slightest sound, waiting for him all night long. She'd hear his voice on the phone and start whining the most awful cry. Every time upon his return, she'd act like this and wouldn't let him out of her sight even to go to the store. It would take weeks to get her back to normal. Fur babies (and of course my family) are the best part of my life. Thank you for sharing this sweet video. Welcome home sweet puppers!
@the gaming- Twinz You do know that every breed of dog has a different life span right? For example, English Bulldogs live on average only 8-10 years if lucky. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but that IS their "expected" lifespan. Some breeds live longer than others but to say all dogs live 16 years, is ignorant of animals in general! 😂
I felt that dog's happiness. She wanted him to pick her up and hold her. My favorite gift from God? Dogs! There's just something about them that touches my soul!

A great reunion, great story. I went on vacation almost immediately after moving, no furniture even put away or arranged. Friends took care of my cats while I was gone, which extended a week longer than expected. When they came in, one of the cats went out, unbeknownst to them. She was in a strange area, no access back in, I'm gone and she's fending for herself. I never saw her again and grieved for her for a long time, not knowing what happened to my cat. I still have a hole in my heart. This puppy was obviously happy to see his dad and I'm sure Dad was happy to have him back too. Pets are family.

Lisa Love I know that experience. Lump in throat.
That's amazing.
That's so amazing
@the gaming- Twinz You do know that every breed of dog has a different life span right? For example, English Bulldogs live on average only 8-10 years if lucky. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but that IS their "expected" lifespan. Some breeds live longer than others but to say all dogs live 16 years, is ignorant of animals in general! 😂
@the gaming- Twinz they can live longer. Its not destined thay every dog has to pass by 16, if they're very healthy they tend to live longer.
Dogs aint just pets. There family. Man lost his kid. Dog lost his dad. Im glad to see they found each other again.

I'm sorry that you have never felt the love from your mother or another human being. I pray that you find love on humans before your time is up!
Charlie , I think what she’s trying to say is , there is no unconditional love like the love of a dog , no matter what you look like , act like , or how you treat them , their love is unconditional always . Sorry but can’t say that about humans & yes I have a husband who I love and friends , but you can be however you want to be around a dog silly stupid whatever & they will still love you to death . So sorry for you you’ve never known that . Sad .
Oh my goodness this hit me! I lost my dog once, so I can relate to this. I miraculously found him too. Such a beautiful moment here!
It took her a few seconds, then BAM! Recogition! One of the best I've seen in a while. You have to realize that this is a DOG. Their brains and recognition is much slower than ours, but still, after years, it's still there.
It's unfortunate that a human being can lose all love even for just one month apart. 🙂
The dog is like "there's something about you that I remember, hmmm, let me smell you, oh I remember that smell, let me lick you, oh you taste like my ..... bark bark bark barkkkkkk" You could see it all coming back in real time. Dog rolls over for a belly rub JUST to make absolutely certain LOL.
It’s not their brain they just use their nose to identify objects. It’s more powerful than eyesight.
@@mrsbluesky8415 there is a video of a couple that have a blind and deaf dog. When the man is nearby the dog can tell as it’s starts sniffing the air and walking in the direction of the smell. Amazing.
It's the smell---not the look, the feel or the smile. It's the smell they never forget.
This is a great example of why "no kill" shelters are so important. God bless the people that took care of her until she could be reunited with her owner/dad. I love this video!!! ❤
Donna Carol Kershaw seriously i feel like shelters that kill are so fake and just cruel. I know too much dogs and cats need help but save them just to kill them later? No.
I totally agree with you, Wizard! It doesn't make any sense!
Leave 'God' out of it. If there was some divine creator, just think of the depraved, insane, immorality of his 'food chain'. Every second of every day, some beautiful animal being agonisingly ripped to pieces just so that another beautiful creature can survive.
Blackmore4, no I won't leave God out of it. You have your freedom & right to express your thoughts & beliefs. Where we might not see things the same way, I respect your right to express & we can agree that life can be very cruel, but we don't live in a perfect world. Take care & I wish you nothing but good things come to you & those you love! ✌ 🙏 ❤
And I wish you the same. However... please try to explain how you square the food chain with an omni-benevolent deity? You say that life can be very cruel and that we don't live in a perfect world and of course you're right but don't you think that a truly loving moral god would have designed his creations' survival differently than them having to constantly suffer agonising, traumatising violent death?
Sometimes, having a dog as a friend, is better than having a human as a friend.
So true.
Usually always
Most times to be honest
Always.

But they always recognize scent. . .

This is how peanut my brothers dog acts when she hasn't seen him in an hour shes one of those she's ok with loving from us but when brother comes out or home from work you might as well forget her coming to you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dobie is feral but loyal he's more my dog cause he tends to follow me more sadly age is catching up to him and he barely moves around weird though cold weather he's fine but sprinfmg and summer seems to bring out his arthritis especially his back left leg but he hardly ever lets it stop him from going on walks this one time he was limping so badly for a week that he had trouble getting up but yet he still decided to walk right behind me on those days I never walk far cause I know it bothers him that he wants to lay down but yet stay loyal even with me telling him he doesn't have to prove it to me as he already does it every day by still being here
I'm crying now, lol!

Been there...felt that hole in my heart and my soul.
This touches my heart so much. I have had many animals in my 74 years. 2 cats and one dog have gone missing. I tried so hard to find them and would have been forever grateful had this been my story.

@@orange_5936 Proven. Animals are capable of crying & do. Not hard to look it up. I did.

@@vblackwell3347 well you’re bad at research then. Animals such as cats are not like humans: they do not weep tears of joy or sadness. Eyes may water due to infection, injury, or lubrication.
To be clear, nobody has said that animals don’t feel emotions. I’m just simply stating there’s no way that cat “literally cried” when reunited with its lost owner. All this confusion brought to you by the misuse of the word “literally “.
