Oh no. I never think about crop rotation. Lord help me to figure it out. Thanks for your help. I love your video.
You’re my hero lol I wanna be like you!

Wow, Jan, how helpful! Great graphics, too 👍
Thank you! I try to do my best 😊
This is what i needed. Thank you i subscribed.
Extra helpful. Solid practical advice on variety spacing and selection. I am a raw beginner, initially thinking of planting four or five distinct plants. Now I see the better layout is at least 16 varieties with variations within varieties. I will not use up the seed packets, hope they will keep till the next season. A lot of investment in seeds. Idea of plant succession very good. Thanks.
I'd say radishes are the biggest confidence boosters. They're ready for harvest in about a month and pretty neutral in soil needs. If you just start with a couple, start with that one.
cool, I'll start on the flower rotation
Do you a book with all these video diagrams?
Excellent 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥬🫑🥒🥦🌽
Thank you :)
You're welcome!
Can I just use fertilizer throughout the season so I don’t have to worry about the soil?
Thank you!
Your video is so helpful! Thank you!
Hiya , like your vidéos. But is it me or on previous vidéo you put 2 cucumber plants on the same square foot in the 5 plants layout and on the flower layout, at the bottom right, its only 1 cucumber plants. Is it à mistake ? How many cucumber plant should i plant because they still take à lot of room. ...thank you
What do you do about animals getting your crops?
I live in an area of only two seasons, will the crop rotation be the same as in the video?
Hi, Ian! I'm trying the square foot gardening for the first time this year. I live in Brasil and don't have snow, so I'm finishing my first raised bed with my husband to start planting. I love your videos! You inspired me a lot!!!
And I have a question... One of our squares is gonna have radish... This is a very fast growing plant... So... When I crop it, should I plant again the same thing, as it's the same year? Or should I start planting another thing in that spot?
Thank you so very much for the videos!
First of all welcome and wonderful news that you have started gardening!
To answer your question you can replant your radishes the same year. With them you can do several crop cycles. And than do crop rotation the next year :)
@@SmallGardenQuest Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
It’s better to add a scoop of a compost in that spot for the new plant’s nutrition.😊
Do you worry about covering tomatoes and preventing blight when they’re planted with melons and onions and peppers and other crops?
Square foot gardening
Is the best 😊
I read that you should not plant anything near fennel -have you found a problem with that? 4 potatoes/sq foot??? The Seeding Square only recommends 1! Also, what zone do you live in?
