Wish I started 2 years earlier with the intention of becoming pro. Unfortunately I started too late in 2017 and stopped when reaching Champ 2. This was less than 1% of all players back then.
It’s crazy to see how much rocket league has improved in 3 years, you gotta think at this time people thought this was the ceiling for rocket league. I wanna say that I think that the rocket league skill ceiling is starting to peak, but I guess we’ll see in another three years 🤷🏽♂️😂
Its just Cosmic Aftershock in general that isn't playing well. Ever since they tried re-creating Flipside Tactics rotation system and Gibbs got more aggressive and not sitting back, they've been losing a lot more. I still feel Kro is a very skilled player but his team is falling apart.
I think its fair to say that the game speed is still pretty fast, around high diamond low champ. The mechanics, however, are equivalent to perhaps modern day Plat I. Even worse still are the rotations, at about a low gold level. How the game has changed.
Watching this whilst 2024 rlcs is going on and boy this game has changed so much 😢. It feels so fckn nostalgic. Looks like plat game play for today standard's

Guys, obviously you could compete with them at this level. The game wasnt out as long as now, hence why they probably had around 1.5-2k hours max. Its cringey to brag.
1.5k is still a lot for this level of gameplay, they play like plats with ~200h nowadays. But I understand that most mechanics weren't even discovered yet lol

You should try out training also play however you want but be prepared for if you play competitive. Hope this helped :)
