A well organized and and fluency in presentation.I am not new to this subject but in early 80's get some knowlege about the subject while Perusing my study to B.A , at that time not as such go through the fundamental and basic of the topic now become clear and a by extending my study to M.A level go through different interpertation of the point thank you!!
New Public Management strategies do NOT work in Public Administration. For example, most public housing authorities have not built new housing in some parts of the United States based upon a private housing market approach this has led to a homeless and affordability crisis in America.
While we agree that New Public Management (NPM) has some limitations, it is believed that it can still be a valuable tool for public administration. NPM can help to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while also helping to make public services more responsive to the needs of citizens. One of the main criticisms of NPM is that it is too focused on private-sector solutions. However, it js believed that NPM can be adapted to fit the unique needs of the public sector. For example, public organizations can use NPM principles to improve their internal management and to develop more effective partnerships with the private sector.
@@ConsultKano The problem is the corruption. Think back to the 2008 financial crisis those same companies depended on the government to bail them out. Those NPM strategies do NOT work when you are asking taxpayers to bail you out. Also, think about the money that had to be injected into the private market during COVID which is now causing worldwide inflation and poverty to rise. Again NPM does NOT work
