We all start from the beginning so don't worry! That is why I want to break down the basic elements really well first before getting more detailed design tutorials out! :) I hope this motivates you and shows that it's not too hard it's just about get some consistent practice in! ☺
i can't get smooth tapers. it almost feels like the henna is too thick and instead of falling on to the page, it just kind of builds upward. I'm pretty sure its me and not the henna but I was just using that example to describe it.

That is one reason I prefer using Rajasthani Henna powder because it is more "stringy" so it drapes beautifully! I will be making an updated henna mixing video but if you want to try your hand at mixing yourself before then I do have the henna powder I use on my website 💖
