    Have had no sink holes with warm containers and C3 soy. Palm feather votives I stir while still warm and that takes care of holes in those. Having sink hole issue with beeswax in silicon mold. Hoping a colder pour will help.

    Hi Jeff, you showed in your videos & mentioned waxes 464 & 6006 or soy wax to have less sink holes , in my case what kind of candle wax should I use because the suppliers I have here in Canada have different kinds of wax… they have the pre mixed one , which I already bought , like Freedom, Millennium, votive & pillar or container soy wax etc….Can you please advice me what wax to buy instead of that mixed wax, should I order the 464, 6006 , 100% soy wax etc .. Are those mixed wax good to use ? They are also expensive !

    I have watched three of your candle videos already and really appreciate all the help. Very well done.
    I've looked at your links below the video and looked through all the comments. I am not seeing which heat gun you use or would recommend. I just used my hair dryer tonight because it's just the kids and I making them for fun, but it blew the wax out of the mug a little bit. Could you tell me which heat gun you prefer for candle making that works better and I don't have a mess to clean afterward? Thanks.

    I am noticing with my C6 wax that when I poke a hole and use the heat gun, I keep getting bubbles that rise up and if I don't keep popping them then they dry that way. Sometimes I have to go over it several times before the bubbles stop popping up. Any advice?

    • @deesanya8315
      @deesanya8315 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am getting this with A05 coco soy, someone told me it is a sign of a deeper sink hole, so you need to wait for it to set and then poke it all the way to the bottom of the vessel then use a heatgun again, or 2nd pour. Someone else may have better advice though..

    • @kimberleycable
      @kimberleycable 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deesanya8315 Same, I experience small bubbles/sink holes with A05 coco soy, and the top cracks on me unless I use my hairdryer. However I also got the B808 Beesoy to try and B808 pours beautifully, no sink holes, and no cracks. And somehow I find that I pour with a lower temperature with the B808 but I heat it up till like 80 degrees and let it cool to around 54 and add my fragrance oil, and it's still very much liquidy at that point, while with Cocosoy, i pour at a higher temp at 60. My next trial is to add some beeswax to the Cocosoy (8%). I also find that with the b808, the cold throw is stronger than A05 (possibly cause lower temp), but I was afraid that the Cocosoy seems to get a bit more cloudy at a higher temp and trying to find the right temp to add FO and pour.
