- Well the weather people where very wrong today and it rained in my jeep with the top down and there was a ton of water that got into the jeep so I drained it all and took all the carpets out and dried everything. Hope you guys enjoy the video!
I have been the same experience a few times and like you explained that's the way to dry properly the floor and the carpet. Thanks for sharing.
Same problem, I like having carpet so opted for the carpet kit from bed rug. Mold resistant and easy to clean, they also dry really fast. I believe it's the same material used in boats .
Same here, I got the full bedrug kit and I love it 👍
i got the bedtred which is more rubberized and i love it
@@vincenthoang6289 I almost went with that one but I was hoping the carpet might have some insulation value. Gets pretty cold where I'm at in the winter.
@@jordanrose5480 yeah it gets really cold in my tj! I’m from jersey
I’m sorry brother... I had to laugh at this one... your Jeep is always so clean... no expectations of rain... now the clean up....and dry out.😁
hahaha its all good
Ahhh! The joys of owning a Jeep! Woot Woot!
Definitely know that feeling. Had a cover over mine and it puddled on top.
Happened to me today
How bright are the turn signals on your front fenders? I like them a lot but I want to have good signals to be safe.
they are good and bright
KyleSVT thanks
Same thing happened to me but I had amplifiers on top of those pools. HAHAHAHa luv muh TJ
It rained by you? Where I live it didn’t rain a drop....very weird hah
Yea it rained a lot lol
I had an ac leak in my mustang which caused the passenger side to flood. There isn't a drain plug like in the jeep so i vaccuumed out at much as i could then put a heavy layer of baking soda on it with a fan for a full day then vaccuumed up the baking soda that absorbed the moisture. It's good to keep it from getting moldy/mildew-y too
I need half doors dammit!
Angel Mata I feel your pain mate
I generally leave the top up with the windows out when it rains and only the back carpeting gets wet, which i have to replace soon anyways. Luckily the carpet hasn’t gotten moldy or smelly yet
Max T I had the same problem, just replaced all the carpet with marine carpet
Would you consider Bedliner instead of carpet?
No I like having the carpet. Keeps the heat down in the cabin
Your Jeep videos are the best I’ve seen. Every day life stuff that happens that we can learn how to fix
Thanks bro!
Can u make some more vids of the cobra terminator accelerations?

@@KyleSVT Thanks i love watching that one u posted i watched it over and over like 10 times because i love cobra terminators

Aaaaannddddd this is why I said to just take the carpets out completely and put some bed liner down if you really want to when you made the drain plug video...
Do you know where I can buy some drain plugs for my tj. I have never had any lol
I would check quadratec they seem to have a lot of those little things
I think I've let my carpets get wet one too many times. Floor pan just starting to get some rust, but they were perfect last summer.
Dang time to sand and refinish it
Man down, she's a beast tho
Thanks bro
Good video
Thanks bro! Not my normal video but wanted to film it
What fenders do you have on your tj?
metalcloak overline
Oh that sucks, remove all my carpet for that exact thing, hope that doesn’t smell
Thanks. I will actaully probably carpet clean everthing while its out of the jeep
I should've pulled my carpet whe mine got rained in worse part was the cubby in the rear.
Zoya Was Here cubby?
I’m sure this jeep was fine but damn this stressed me out
